Spagna Luxury Apartment - Piazza di Spagna

Amazing location in the city centre, just a short walk from the Spanish steps. The apartment was very clean and well kept, especially the bathroom which was renovated.

Whilst the bed in the one bedroom is great, the sofa bed is not very comfortable as the mattress is sagging in the middle. Also the living room, where the sofa bed is, is very noisy, I could hear the shower and the toilet flush from the apartment above and the one right next to it. On the other hand, my friends who slept in bedroom had a quiet, good night sleep.

Excellent location

The location was very good, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops either next door or within a short walk.

The apartment was not as luxurious as the online photos and we were a little disappointed. There were only two very flat pillows on the bed and no spares. The fridge was unstable when opening the door as it is in a cupboard and tends to fall forward when you open the door. The apartment requires some maintenance eg. the loose parquetry flooring in the kitchen, also there was an unpleasant odor coming from the hand basin drain hole in the bathroom, the toilet seat was loose, the broken lamp shade next to the bed to name but a few items. The entrance to the building is only possible by use of internet on your phone, or by calling the host, therefore if your phone is lost, left in your room, no signal or the battery is flat you won't be able to gain entry to the building at all and you won't be able to contact the host for access, this I find unacceptable as you should have a key to the front door of building as in most accommodation. The combination lock on the door handle to the apartment takes a little getting used to but works ok.
