Rocca di Corno Guest House

Excellent location for mountains and ocean. The hillside property was absolutely beautiful with vegetable garden, orchard, vineyards, and flowers. Our apartment included one bedroom and a sofa bed for our 4 family members. It was very clean and well supplied with linens and kitchen supplies. Decorated in a lovely, spacious, and welcoming style. Sitting on the patio viewing the gardens was a restful delight. It was quiet and peaceful. Best of all, Paula was very helpful, accomodating, and speaks excellent English. Her parents were a delight even if we could not speak Italian.

We wished that we could have stayed for a week or two! Next time. :-)

Paola and her family are exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts. We have been communicating for months before arriving in Finale. We especially liked the large kitchen with great equipment, excellent bedroom with very comfortable matrace (I am a very light sleeper but the combo of biking, vacation and excellent bedroom allowed me to sleep on average 9+ hours a day which is unheard of for me) and the outdoor area which is beautiful (beware of mosquitos). This house is great if you don't want to be in the city centre (where there is a lot of traffic and vehicle fumes) and don't mind a 10 minute bike ride to the beach or 15 minute bike ride to finale borgo where the shuttles are. The bike ride is very easy, no difficult climbs and if you wanna go by car (which we did for dinners) there is always space in a paid parking in finale borgo close to shuttles (1.8 per hour), free to park at the coop there when doing a larger grocery run and also easy to park (some for free, some 1.8 per hour) 10 days was not enough, next time I'd go for at least 2 weeks.
