Sunset House

If you're in Ohrid - This place is a MUST! It's just beautiful and the views are out of this world. Everything was comfortable and clean. The host was incredible, super nice people running the place and are very welcoming. I will recommend this place to everyone !! Martina - Thank you so much 🙌🤍

The journey to the accommodation was challenging, as there are two routes but only one is accessible by car. Unfortunately, our taxi took us the wrong way, leaving us to walk about 2km uphill in 40°C heat with our luggage! Thankfully at one point, we got access to the internet and managed to message the accommodation on booking.com for help - our wonderful host Martina responded within seconds, came to meet us herself and took us up the correct route. She was incredibly kind and helpful, even arranging cold drinks as we arrived and helping us rent a car later. The journey is worth knowing about, but once you arrive at Sunset House, it truly feels like paradise. Absolutely amazing!

Es war wirklich fantastisch hier! :) Toller Ausblick, ruhige kleine Anlage, super Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Küche und ein liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück (dazu buchbar für 10€/ Nase, absolut fair!). Wenn man runter in den Ort fährt, bekommt man auch alles zum Einkaufen was man benötigt, Gastronomie, etc. Sooo schlimm ist der Weg nicht ;)

Wir hatten leider keine Klimaanlage in unserem Häuschen. Das habe ich beim Buchen zumindest nicht explizit erkennen können. Im Hochsommer kann das schon ein wenig stören.

Las vistas son espectaculares. El alojamiento es precioso, el bungalow está muy bien cuidado y Martina, la anfitriona, fue encantadora y muy atenta. ¡Una estancia fantástica!

La ducha es abierta sin mampara, con el desagüe en el suelo, y se moja todo el baño. Además hay poco espacio para ducharse. El camino rural hasta llegar al alojamiento.

Liis of dead bugs in the bungalow as we arrived. Later lots of spiders, centipedes and other creatures in the bed, on the floor etc. The bed mattress was awful. Big problem with having hot water and at some point any water. Shower head was broken and spraying everywhere. No room for showering. Toilet was leaking. Electricity problems. Very poor WiFi connection. Most of the time it was out. Awful dirt road getting there. Our rental car almost didn't make it. Very expensive for the quality.
