Great apartments with extra view and quiet surrounding

a wonderful place, a place that you want to come back to, beautiful view, great idea with external kitchen, garden with so many places to sit, lay down or just walk a bit, super friendly and helpful staff

rooms are small (which is ok) but the bathroom is super tiny, and there is a problem with ventilation, beds are a bit too hard, but this is my personal feeling

Highly recommend if you want to be into nature oasis.

The view is totally amazing. The kitchen is comfortable and the hospitality of the people was very nice. The kitty is a sweet bonus 😻

The way to the hotel is not the best. You should better have a car and be prepared to drive carefully. The bathroom is pretty small. You should be a nature lover because you are going to face different insects 🥲

Amazing location, great host

Lovely, helpful host- made checking in and out very easy and responsive to requests. Breakfast was €9 and very worthwhile. Amazing view from my balcony (with umbrella, table & chairs). Room and bathroom clean. Air-conditioning works great, even with the room getting fairly hot in the afternoon with the sun. Clean towels for each night's stay.

The steps down into the bathroom weren't very safe when they got wet after using the shower, so I would be especially cautious if you have any mobility issues. Bed wasn't especially comfortable. As others mention, road up is steep but perfectly manageable and signs directing you there (host will send you directions beforehand).

This place is heaven. It's very peaceful, has an amazing view and is equipped with everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. 😊

The road is a little curvy and unpaved but it has signs for the apartment which makes it easier to navigate.

Amazing unique stay!

What a little gem overlooking beautiful lake ohrid. The place is family run and is the perfect place to relax and be in nature! There is a little bit of an uphill drive to reach the property but it is easy and definitely worth it. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Only the view is nice

Beautiful view, quiet area, cool looking houses, helpful host.

Liis of dead bugs in the bungalow as we arrived. Later lots of spiders, centipedes and other creatures in the bed, on the floor etc. The bed mattress was awful. Big problem with having hot water and at some point any water. Shower head was broken and spraying everywhere. No room for showering. Toilet was leaking. Electricity problems. Very poor WiFi connection. Most of the time it was out. Awful dirt road getting there. Our rental car almost didn't make it. Very expensive for the quality.

I had an amazing experience at this place! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. They allowed me to stay longer and work, which was a big plus. The Wi-Fi was very good.

The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was very clean. The view from the house is breathtaking.

The approach is very bad. There are no signs, no lights and even local taxi drivers can't find the road. It is a dusty uphill path and not so safe for the car.

It is perfect place I swear. Especially for people who love nature tenderness and peace.

It is perfect place! Especially for people who love nature tenderness and peace. Unique view. There are some other villas in mountains but just here you will see the lake and the forest like in a cup or bowl and feel yourself like a lord of the mountain with this miracle view. Sunset house is located on the top of the mountain far from the noise, many people and hotels. You need to be prepared for 15 min trips on foot up and down or take a car for off-road. It may seem difficult but one time you arrive here you’ll understand that it’s absolutely worth it!!! To be in completely nature with stars, silence, sunsets, crickets, birds and your own soul and peace and world… Building. It’s a new one, very clean, a little bit like villa, a little bit like chalet in mountains. There are two rooms upstairs, each with balcony and view, there is a big terrace downstairs with magnificent view and hammock, there is outdoor kitchen also with a view. There all the benefits of civilisation like water/gas/electricity even if the place is very secluded. There is everything you need in the kitchen: water, salt, oil, plates, tableware, pots… whatever you want!… even more! Every day hosts bring something that surprise you! Ilija and Zaklina are so hospitable welcoming and “welstaying” that I can talk for hours. They want you to relax and enjoy and do everything for this, not just rent a house. They helped us in every our need and curiosity: brought us vegetables, cooked dinner with local dishes for us, took us to bus station early morning. And not just this… much more! We spend a lot of time talking together in mix of Macedonian, Russian, English, Serbian:)) and we loved these people. We booked Sunset House for 5 nights but then take 3 more because we loved it. At the end of our trip we came back to meet Ilija and Zaklina and their fantastic Sunset House. And we really hope to see it again!

The calmness and the view

Minimalistic accommodation, with shared garden and kitchen. A 1.2km gravel road will take you to probably the calmest place with the best view of the lake and beautiful sunset

Tek kelimeyle; muhteşemdi.

O kadar güzel bi manzaraya bakıyorsunuz ki; aklınız, ruhunuz sıfırlanıyor. Tek başına seyahat eden biri olarak yolculuğumda en çok burada huzur buldum. Çalışanlar inanılmaz ilgili ve kibar. Her noktada yardımcı oluyorlar. Bungalovun içi tertemizdi. Yan tarafta ortak kafe tarzı bir yer var. Aynı zamanda orayı mutfak olarak da kullanabiliyorsunuz. Ohri merkeze biraz uzak, yürüyerek ulaşım pek mümkün değil. Ben taksi kullandım ve tesis bu noktada taksi çağırmanıza da yardımcı oluyor. Kafa tatili yapmak isteyen herkese öneriyorum.

Böceklerden korkan biriyseniz, gece balkon kısmında böcek çok oluyor ama evin içinde hiç rastlamadım.

Lokacija i put do smestaja veoma losi. Ostetili smo auto voznjom do lokacije. Ne preporucujem

Domacin nigde nije naveo da je lokacija na nekoliko kilometara od grada i na vrhu brda. Do smestaja se dolazi neuredjenim putem, punim rupa i na nekim mestima bez asfalta. U dolasku smo ostetili vozilo, otkinuo se deo blatobrana na rupama na putu do smestaja. Nagib i krivine do smestaja nisu nikako za normalan auto, vec samo za dzip ili kvod. Umesto sobe sa bracnim krevetom i lezajem na rasklapanje koju smo rezervisali, receno nam je da dete mora da spava sa nama. Da smo ostali, ne bismo imali sta da veceramo, jer ne bismo mogli da kupimo niti odemo bilo gde da jedemo, jer je okolo samo suma. Nocu ne bismo smeli ni da se vratimo u smestaj, nema ulice, nema osvetljenja, sigurno nikada necemo ponovo rezervisati. Nasli smo drugi smestaj u gradu, takodje preko bookinga.
