Casa De Los Enredos

This was the nicest place we’ve stayed at in Guatemala and it was a great price! The bathroom, beds, and balcony were all very nice and clean. We also used their shuttle service to get to the next city for a great deal.

There were loud dogs and roosters all night and it was a bit confusing to find. The exact coordinates are 14.74545° N, 91.15737° W to the property.

The room was very spacious and modern, so much nicer than expected! Everything seemed basically brand new, freshly painted and furnished, very clean, and high quality bedding. Our room even had a cute little private balcony (but no furniture). Amazing hot shower and good wifi. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Tucked away down a laneway but a short easy walk to the dock or Pana’s main tourist street. The hotel was tricky to find at first as there’s no signage, had to ask a local for directions. The Google Maps location for the hotel is correct, as you head down the laneway look on the left hand side for a big wooden gate (pic below).

Noisy construction work in the daytime. No power outlets near the bed or bedside table/light.

I liked the privacy and access to the man street.

The location was a little noisy and hard to keep out outside sounds.

Clean basic room with comfortable bed and hot water.

The room and bathroom were very cramped. At the moment there is major construction work occurring on the roof. During the day builders are walking along the balcony carrying building materials so it is difficult to sit out. The constant drilling and hammering made it impossible to be in the room during the day. Work did stop around 6pm.
