The location was fantastic. Couldn't be anymore in the centre of Fowey!

Sheets were damp on the bed, property smelt of damp and there was mould in the en suite bathroom around the bottom of the walls

Last minute getaway

The central location and keysafe meant we could allow teenagers with us the freedom to explore.

I put on the booking that we were bringing a dog and then got charged a further £50 after I had paid for the stay in full. This should be made much clearer before making the payment.

An excellent stay in a great location and in a fab accommodation

We really liked the location and having the outside space for the dog! Also the space was very good.

The outside gate into the property is not very secure, it needs a bolt on the inside and a latch that goes over the top to make it more sturdy. One day we had high winds and it blew the gate open and the handle came off.

Would have been useful to know about dropping off bags close to the property. There is a loading bay quiet close to the property in which to off load bags before parking in one of the main carparks. Not a major issue but would have been useful to know.

Basement flat with little light and air. Some facilities missing or inadequate, eg. One shower not working initially, heated towel rail not working, no live TV, no hooks or shelves in bathrooms , for price too small for 4 persons.

generally we liked it a lot, it was a little on the small side for 4 adults but more than adequate for 2 and 2 children. the car park was quite a (hilly) walk away but you cant help that as that is the trade off for being so central

This cottage/apartment was beyond our expectations. Perfect situation, perfect for our elderly parents. Perfect for our 6 month old puppy too, loved it and will be back !!!

Fabulous Fowey and cosy central cottage!

The location is perfect for a central spot of dining and shopping in fowey, minutes from the harbour and ferry and all the coastal walks are fabulous around!

Being a pet friendly location the hoover needed an upgrade to hoover up after ourselves. Could do with an extra oven tray as self catering and dining some nights in would make it easier. Also the beds were just average comfort could have been comfier.

A beautiful, well designed and cared for flat in a great location.

Fowey is a beautiful Cornish village and Crimper's Cottage is right in the heart of it. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed as a family with two young children. It is a well laid out and roomy ground floor with two double bedrooms (one has an ensuite), living room, kitchen, main bathroom and separate laundry room with modern washing machine We arrived early and were allowed to check in early for a nominal fee. There is a small terrace with picnic bench where we enjoyed breakfasts and evening meals. It is our opinion that it provides excellent value for money due to the location, comfort and convenience.

Fowey has a steep one-way road as the only access through the village, it's not a problem but you need to be a reasonably confident driver. There is ample parking at the other end of the road, approx 10-15 mins walk.

Great Little Cottage

Nice and newly renovated cottage in the middle of town so very easy to get around everywhere. Very cosy snd nice play to chill.

It was all good. Only thing I would have changed is better mattress - only because I prefer a hard mattress. Other than that all good.

Disappointingly very poor value for money...

The location and town were wonderful and we really enjoyed the activities around and about. The apartment was by and large well equipped and had good wifi and TVs in every room.

This is a basement flat (rather than a cottage) rather airless and not much natural light. It is small even for a family of three plus dog. The parking is not convenient, public and a ten minute walk up a very steep hill and steps which would not suit anyone with mobility issues or a pushchair. It was also an extra cost of approx another £50 per week. In the light of the very high accommodation charge this should be reviewed. We had to ask for a sheet and towel change for the second week, which when the cleaner turned up she was not expecting and had to send someone out to collect the clean laundry. Rubbish is not collected so you have to carry your rubbish to a collection point down through the high street. The concierge service did not add any value to the holiday for example by offering to book restaurants (which were all booked weeks ahead) or getting supermarket delivery slots (also all taken) which given the position of parking made shopping rather onerous. We felt this property represented very poor value for money, charging premium prices without the commensurate level of service and facilities. For not much more money we could have stayed at the much nicer Fowey Hall Hotel with B&B, parking, dining facilities, room cleaning, sheet and towel services etc.
