Home in a Protected Cove on Lake Buchanan.

We enjoyed a spring break visit. The house was very clean and had the all amenities you could need or want including a gas grill, fire pit, and ping pong table. Gorgeous view.

For my birthday I decided to take my family away from the Houston city life and escape to nature. This lake house was perfect for this! It has a lovely view of the lake, a large backyard with a fire pit and a boat dock. We went in the cold winter and I would 100% stay at this house again in the summer. They provide all the goodies - tubes, water skis, life vests, super soakers! The home had everything we needed - logs and fire starters for the bond fire, coffee pods, a bottle of filtered water for the coffee. Thanks for a great getaway with the family!!

This house was a great location for some Family Time! The lake was beautiful, great cove for fishing, close to Caves and Hiking ! There are games, books, ping pong, corn hole… and much more. Kids would love it! The place is so we’ll taken care of. Owner lives next door and is very responsive if you need anything! The lake view is so wonderful! There is a nice fire pit area to overlook the lake. We really enjoyed our time here!

We had a wedding to attend in Oatmeal and decided to make Lake weekend out of it. This property was wonderful. Clean, well supplied, comfortable beds, beautiful lake views. Pier to fish from, lake chairs to enjoy the views, big oaks to shade your relaxing. Kayaks and life vest and inner tubes for the lake, but was too cool for us to enjoy this time. Ping-pong and puzzles kept the kids busy. We will be back! Thank you.

We had a wonderful time. We brought our boat and JetSki and and everything was perfect. The property is impeccably maintained and very clean. The owners are also very responsive to any questions. We will very likely come back many times in the years to come.

Shady lake side location, great views of lake, quiet neighborhood, sandy beach for kayak/canoe launch. Neighborhood private boat launch, boat dock was made available to us, hosts are very responsive & attentive. TJM had thought of everything you & your family might need for a great time in the water or in the rec area with pingpong table, other games. The house was great with an upstairs & downstairs for a little privacy or separation if desired. Great place for our family time, we will be back.

Very clean and well appointed property. Loves the view of the cove for sunrise coffee. Boys loved the downstairs room for their lair. Ping pong table and games galore. Kayaks are a nice way to enjoy the cove. We would definitely recommend the property and stay there again.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating, they even went out of their way to show us where to dock our boat into the lake!! We had a wonderful time on the lake and loved every minute of our stay! We will definitely be returning soon!

Absolutely wonderful experience!! Great communication with the owners truly make you feel welcomed! Property was clean & perfect for our stay! Super cute rooms. The beds were comfortable & the sheets/comforters all good quality that allows for a good night sleep. The kitchen was great has everything you need. I had forgotten to bring coffee but no worries they had coffee, sugar and creamer!! The ping pong table was a hit! Everyone enjoyed playing ping pong. It was very nice setup downstairs. Good to to know you have kayaks and tubes to use. Boat lift was a plus being we brought a boat. It was nice to have a boat ramp not far away to launch the boat. The bonus was the scenery at the property. Waking up in the morning watching the sunrise & watching the sunset in the evening. Even the neighbors was so nice and they had only good things to say about property owner. Thank you for making our say the best experience ever!!! We are already planning our next trip!!

This property is the perfect relaxing getaway. We enjoyed our stay so much, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our party was 2 sets of adults and 2 little kids, and the 3 bedrooms were perfect. The top floor has 2 bedrooms that are perfect for a family (master bedroom and 2 twins) and the downstairs room is really flexible (double and a set of bunk beds). Here is what I loved about this house: -Beautiful view off a perfect porch! The porch is north facing and huge. There is lots of comfy seating and it's always in deep shade, so you get a great breeze and feel cool even on hot days. The view out onto the water is just the best. I had coffee there every morning and never wanted to leave. The porch is surrounded by gorgeous old trees too. The sound of cicadas and the lake were pure paradise. -The house is stocked like a home and everything is name-brand high quality. There are tons of fluffy towels (enough for 6 of us to bathe every day and not do laundry for a week), and the kitchen is fully stocked with things like Ziplock bags, fresh sponges (a must for us, since our daughter has a peanut allergy and we can't use used dish washing items), soap, dishwasher pods, salt, pepper, sugar, creamer, oil, coffee, and enough plates/cutlery to host a party of 15 without running low on anything. There are even serving utensils for family style meals. I think the owners might have even stocked a brand new baby bottle washing brush just for us, since we were bringing a baby. -The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. -The homeowners are helpful and friendly, and sent a few nice little emails with fun tips for what to do in the area. -The house is quiet at night and it's easy to sleep. -The AC is frigid, if that's your thing. -The garage is full of fun toys. We took the kayaks out one day to explore the lake and it was awesome. There are adult and child-sized life vests, which made it possible for us to take our daughter in the lake safely. Like everything else in the house, all these items are top quality. -The house is nearby to things like The Slab and Longhorn Cavern, and delicious burgers at Reverend Jims. There is also an adorable little fruit stand up the road with U-Pick flowers. I wish I could have stayed there forever! This place is awesome.

This property was wonderful being right on the water and super peaceful. The house was perfect plenty to do all the time. Exactly what we were looking for. Kids had a blast fishing from the dock and was super easy to dock our boat to. Definitely wanting to plan another trip already!!!!!

Great place for us to enjoy the lake. This was our first time to Lake B. We had a great time on the lake with our friends on the water. The house was super cute and had everything we needed. The views from the property are great. The house sits on a cove which was nice. The kids were able to jump off the deck and kayak around with out fear of crazy waves and speeding boats. We hated to leave.

We greatly enjoyed our stay on Lake Buchanan. Our kids enjoyed fishing from the dock. We were able to rent jet skis that were delivered to the boat ramp available to the residents. Super easy! The home is beautiful - we especially enjoyed the large kitchen island with barstools. The air conditioner works great, also! FYI the only staircase attaching the upstairs & downstairs is outside. It wasn’t a problem for us - our older kids & 8 year old stayed upstairs & my husband & I stayed downstairs. The game room was a lot of fun - we loved the ping pong table. We had some trouble with our boat trailer & Mark asked a friend to check on us & brought tools to help - thank you, Mark! We had a wonderful vacation & would definitely return if we are able.

From the minute we set foot on this property, we were blown away by the gorgeous views. Upon settling in, we realized how lucky we were to have booked such a beautiful home. The main living floor with kitchen provided spectacular views during morning coffee from the back porch and family meals at the dinner table. The home was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was well stocked with kitchen items, basic cooking supplies, games, movies, etc. The garage space not only housed all of the lake toys you could imagine, but also provided fun breaks from the sun with ping pong matches. But the cherry on top of a beautiful home was the amazing dock, where both the kids and adults spent most of the day playing in the water and casting fishing lines. The hosts were so accommodating and were very helpful prior to our arrival and while we were onsite. We are so appreciative of their hospitality. Overall, this home provided the perfect family weekend full of quality time and relaxation. Thank you for an amazing stay! We can't wait to come back.

Really nice place. (probably the nicest place we’ve stayed on Buchanan) Meticulously clean. Definitely will stay here again.
