The host was great for communication etc. The only thing we were not prepared for the driveway up to the cabin - it should be noted there are 30 steps to climb up to the cabin-it does however have 2 landings.(our pups enjoyed every step - they had a blast climbing up and down them) The driveway is fairly narrow and quite steep-we had never been to the Gatlinburg area before and did not quite expect that-thank goodness there was not snow and we were in a 3/4 ton truck so not exactly compact size for maneuvering the drive and turning around up by cabin. A few boards were rotted out around the steps but nothing that would be of a safety concern. The inside of the cabin was exactly as pictured-overall very nice. It really deserved 5 stars however the driveway/turn around is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Just be prepared for that-it was very convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for our stay. The host even allowed us to have our 4 boston terriers which they and us greatly appreciated someone working with us on 4 dogs. Definitely would recommend this for your trip and book a zipline(it was so totally worth it)!!

When pulling up to the cabin there was garbage! There is a hole on one of the steps and you need more remote controls! We had a bear come visit us!

The home is clean but lacks sufficient lighting at night, and the stairs are quite steep. They can be slippery when wet, so it is recommended to add traction tape for safety. The driveway is poorly lit, which made it challenging to locate the home during nighttime visits. While the hot tub is nice, the keypad on its door does not illuminate, making it difficult to see and operate at night. You need to tap it just right for it to work properly.
