Just a short 5-minute (400-yard) stroll takes you to the beach and the Dunes House, a favorite spot with a beachside restaurant and bar. The General Store is right around the corner, known for its hearty breakfasts and legendary fried chicken at lunch. For most of the year you can enjoy the complimentary Dunes Buggy shuttle to Shelter Cove’s shops, restaurants, and entertainment where they have fireworks and live music on Tuesday nights in season. There are regular festivals in Shelter Cove park with live music and food.

Nicely updated. Comfortable and well furnished. We enjoyed being on the lagoon and having a dining table that seats 8. Beach chairs, towels and bikes were nice benefits.

Accommodations were as pictured, clean and comfortable. Loved having breakfast on the deck overlooking the lagoon and watching the wildlife before heading to the beach for the day. Easy walk to beach.Will stay again if heading back to Hilton Head.
