The lift system was the slowest I have ever seen. The property was broken, with enquiring it was never fixed. Often there was smell of marijuana. The pick area was always busy and felt unsafe.

Good safe apartment block.

The apartment block is in a good location with security downstairs so it feels safe. Ubers will stop at the door. It has a pool upstairs which you can you after you have checkout out the room.

Some things are were annoying. The bed frame have sharp corners so you have to be carefull. The shower door didnt fully close so water went out. The air con controller is quite bright at night, and occasionally you could smell weed from outside.

Excellent location near to all main cbd sights, short drive to the V+A waterfront and nearby beach / coastal areas, great security for access to the building and its car park, and the apartment is quite roomy for a one bedroom apartment and is well appointed with great storage. The advertising does not do justice to the great view - we were in 1715 and we could see the ocean, V+A waterfront wheel, Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, and the city including the coloured houses at Bokaap. The view was sensational!

The ducted heating and cooling vents in the bedroom area only, and not in the living area. This made the apartment uncomfortably cold in the evenings (we were there in mid August) and we believe it would be unbearably hot in the summer in the afternoons. Also, while the advertised information says there is a TV with streaming services, there are in fact no TV channels as there is no TV connection (cable or antenna). For those like us who like to watch the daily local and global news, this makes a longer stay (in our case 9 nights) less comfortable than it should have been. Finally, with traveller security always an issue, it’s worth noting that there is no safe / security box in the apartment.

Overall, the stay was pleasant, checking in was awesome and staff were friendly.

The location and cleanliness.

The smoke alarm just went off randomly during the night when we were sleeping and another time while we were out. Came home from being out and then heard it when we were going back to the room. Maybe it had to be set after the 1st time it went off. Visitors should be informed as to how to reset it if that’s the case.

Apartment Very Cold!

The location is very good. The apartment nicely done

The apartment was extremely cold. There was no heater, no electric blanket, no extra blanket and the aircorn was blowing cold air the whole time. I reported so many times but I still didnt get even a small heater. We couldnt sit in the lounge and watch tv. Thats how cold it was!

Perfect location for my seminar taking place across the road. Spectacular view. Very comfortable.

The laborious check in procedure. No Nespresso coffee pods, despite the machine. No place for suitcase / unpacking. Netflix account not updated. No place for toiletries - just a narrow basin with no shelf. Responsibilities placed on guests like taking a photograph of key in the key box on departure.
