The apartment was located in the CBD, walking distance from V&A Waterfront, The Gardens and many restaurants. The car parking was secure and entry and exit to the building was also secure. Kudra and Laz were very helpful. The apartment had pretty much everything in it to ensure a comfortable (self-catered if desired) stay.

The information pack to the apartment said that towels would be changed every 3 days. Also it said that, if we put the “service room” sign on the door before 10.30 am the room would be serviced. Neither fresh towels nor requested servicing of room occurred. Not a major problem but perhaps change the information pack details.

Excellent in every way. Very clean, comfortable and stylish rooms. Great location on Bree Street, friendly staff and amazing views of Table Mountain. Everything was perfect.

Nothing, everything was excellent

Bree street is a great location, particularly if you’re at the CITCC. The apartment although tiny, has a full size dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. It also has a small balcony which allows you to clearly see, weather permitting, both table mountain and the port. The manager was very kind and authoritative and the entire team is very responsive.

Some things Urban elephant cannot change; there is major construction right across the street. They start at 0700 Mon- through Sat and it’s not due to finish until -April 2028. If you can sleep through the drilling,clanging , yelling, you’ll be fine otherwise bring good ear plugs. Things Urban elephant can control/change; they need to fit black out blinds, light comes into the apartment, from 0600am, bouncing straight off the large mirror - bring an eye mask. Ask for a door notification otherwise housekeeping and or managerial support , knock incessantly at your door, making it impossible to conduct work calls/work from the apartment- do not disturb door signs are essential. The bed springs and mattress need replacing, the slightest movement means the entire bed squeaks. For a small bed and apartment there were 4 pillows and 4 oversized cushions on the bed itself with 4 oversized cushions on the sofa alongside 2 smaller sofa cushions. That means you have to find space for 8 large cushions in a tiny room. Utter madness. Finally, I waited 20+ minutes downstairs once checked in, for the manager to appear and give me my apartment keys, despite texting to give my time of arrival. He then insisted on taking me through the minutiae of the tiny apartment, despite me telling him I was running late. Overall this meant I was 30+ minutes late for an important meeting.
