The location is perfect, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable.

Bathroom didn’t have areas to place things. Due to the number of guests in the building, at times it took long waiting for an elevator but it’s manageable.

Brilliant stay in a perfect location.

We were so well looked after by the friendly check-in team. The location couldn't have been better on Bree Street moments from the best bars and restaurants in town. The room was huge and comfortable with gobsmacking views - definitely check out the rooftop pool for 360 vistas of city! We loved our stay here and will certainly be back when we're next in Cape Town.

A great stay at the Urban Elephant!

A fabulous stay in Apt 1916 at Urban Elephant 16 on Bree. It had everything I needed for my week's stay and was very comfortable and clean. A great location with lots of cafes & restaurants in walking distance, as well as an excellent Spar supermarket. Loved the view across Bo-Kaap, Lions Head and down to the waterfront - saw some amazing sunsets. As a solo female traveller, I also appreciated the security measures for entry into the building.

Property was walking distance to both V&A waterfront as well as kloof street and the Ubers were really cheap anywhere. Views of Table mountain were amazing from the room and the pool and bar were perfect for sundowners.

Perfect Stay with Breathtaking Views!

My stay at Urban Elephant was absolutely perfect. The location is unbeatable, and the views from the apartment were simply breathtaking, with a 360-degree panorama of Cape Town, the sea, and Table Mountain. The apartment was well-equipped with everything you could need, and the building's security made me feel very safe. The staff were all fantastic and accommodating. I had such a wonderful experience that I am already planning to return with my family and book one of the penthouses. Highly recommended!My stay at Urban Elephant was absolutely perfect. The location is unbeatable, and the views from the apartment and 27 floor were simply breathtaking, with a 360-degree panorama of Cape Town, the sea, and Table Mountain. The apartment was well-equipped with everything you could need, and the building's security made me feel very safe. The staff were all fantastic and accommodating. I had such a wonderful experience that I am already planning to return with my family and book one of the penthouses. Highly recommended!

Location excellent, sunset view beautiful, fairly modern facilities.

Could do with more cooking basics e.g. oil. Was inconsistent e.g. apartment before had mixing bowls and oven gloves whilst this stay did not. Check in was a little complex, could do with a step by step guide to support the security guards.

Friendly staff, we were worried they would be surly given some reviews but they were very polite and helpful with the security gate. Taxi via Angel was very good but expensive. Kitchenette was well stocked with salt pepper and utensils.

Room floor was a little dirty e.g. under sofa and shower not totally clean.

This is probably the best place to stay in all of Cape Town!

Located in the heart of the city centre, this apartment was easy to find. My host was really friendly and checked up on me even though I was fine just being alone. The location was safe. There's a bar/restaurant downstairs to order food or just chill in the evenings. Security is tight and around the clock, and they are also very friendly. The facial recognition was very accurate compared to other places I stayed, and the elevators were very responsive. I'm glad I booked this place because the view is breathtaking, and this will be my go-to location whenever I'm in Cape Town.
