Wonderful family stay near historical WWII sites.

The location was great as we could access all of the places we wanted to visit very easily, as we had a car. The spa facilities and game room were very good, my whole family enjoyed it. The indepence, "Le Loft", we rented was comfortable for our family stay.

Maybe a bigger couch around the sitting area. Otherwise, everything was great.

The room was spacious

The horrible welcome we had !!! The lady came to our place just to tell us that we were supposed to get the keys at 4 and not before… the apartment was already empty and clean by noon when we collected the keys!! Instead of giving us a warm welcome and thank to have chosen her place…for sure she is not a business person but a frustrated one!!! The apartment didn’t smell well as it was closed for a long period of time.

Beautiful, well maintained property that is spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. Inviting outdoor space. The flowers are breathtaking. Philip gave us very helpful restaurant and activity recommendations.

I would like the family room to be open later. It stays light for so long that closing time sneaks up on you.

Luscious garden on a quaint street

The hotel is located on the most quaint street, just beautiful. There's a lovely restaurant that our host recommended and we did not regret. It is also a short drive from the promenade on the sea side. The room was comfortable, with massive windows overlooking the luscious garden and a lot of light. We had bathrobes and slippers in the bathroom of an impressive size. The host was brilliant, very welcoming and sweet. He served us personally at breakfast bringing delightful bites.

There was a bit of discrepancy in the description. The hotel doesn't have its own parking. There's a free parking near the church 5 minutes down the road. What was more concerning, there was no charger for the electric cars, as advertised. This could be very upsetting should we run out of energy that night. Luckily, we had more battery left to reach the next destination. If you are a light sleeper, you may find the squeaky floors and the steps in the room above yours disturbing.

A beautiful and tranquil place to stay

The accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped set in lovely surroundings. The spa is simple but provides a nice place to relax. The garden is very peaceful and the local area is interesting to explore. Cabourg is a short walk with many restaurants and an excellent stretch of beach. The staff warmly greeted us and were really helpful throughout our stay. We arrived by train and the local station is only a 10 minutes walk away.

Pleasant B&B stay in the middle of a small town.

Beautiful building, very nicely decorated rooms - with nice wallpaper and furniture. Clean and a good breakfast. Location is in the middle of a small town, nice but less rural than we had thought based on the pictures.

The room was quite warm and a bit stuffy, but when we opened the windows the noise from the street was somewhat annoying.

Fantastic location in the heart of Dives Sur Mer

Fantastic location in the heart of Dives Sur Mer. We slept in a small 2 storeys house just next to the main building. The house is cute, clean and accomodated the 5 of us very nicely. Kitchen well equipped, Alexa playing music by request and the local free parking not far from the house.

The hostess shouted at us because we rang the bell when we came, instead of entering the code and taking the keys from the box by ourselves. We kindly asked for breakfast at 7:30 but the hostess said it is impossible before 8:30 because the shops don't work. One would think that if you rent the accomodation and offer breakfast to your guests, you would prepare yourself in advance, not depend on the working hours of the shops.

Very attractive house with nice garden including small spa pool. Sauna and steam room bookable via website. Small games room. Good breakfast taken alfresco as summertime. Close to Dives shops and a few restaurants.

No parking although can stop and unload briefly. Free car park not too far distant however. Bathroom not seperate from bedroom (only with curtain)

very spacious and nice structure in the city centre of Dives sur Mer. the whole building and our room has an amazing design style and nice objects

Wi-Fi was not working in the room. there’s a great TV in the room which is not working because it’s connected to the Wi-Fi only. a Mini bar in the room would have been great . Breakfast was a bit basic for the price overall

lovely building

everything. the manageress is awful and unhelpful - when we complained about our stay she took no responsibility for the issues raised - just told us to leave. the housekeeper spies on you. by the ‘pool’ she came over fluffing the cushions on the decking & staring at us. do not take young kids here - got shouted at for using the outside fridge, got shouted at for using the outside microwave, got shouted at for feeding the kids in the area they serve breakfast (not allowed any food on the premises) it’s for couples who just want a bed for the night. there isn’t a pool it’s just a very large jacuzzi with a lot of chemicals in it. there are no rules or welcome pack around and no one around to assist you unless your doing wrong and then the male manager comes out and becomes quite aggressive. shouted at the kids on more than one occasion for walking the wrong way to the arcade and for being in the arcade. they switched off the electricity to the arcade when the kids were down there so there was nothing for them to play on. at breakfast I went up for another glass of apple juice and the hostess was giving me dirty looks. the day after that you had to ask for juice and they gave it to you one in a small glass bottle container - it was terrible the place is like a prison (how you’re watched and can’t do anything.. the grounds are nice) the staff are horrible - one of our kids got a bad cut.. blood everywhere - I could not believe they had no first aid kit.. I carry one but it was upstairs. luckily another family ran and got their one (on the last day there was a different couple serving breakfast and they were nice). the rooms were clean - and the building itself is lovely.. I think that’s the only positive. I’ll never take my family back there.

Beautiful mansion, tastefully decorated rooms, everything looked fresh and new, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, eco conscious (e.g. no separately packed products at the breakfast table, no little shampoo bottles etc.), central location in a lovely little town, pleasant beds, playroom for the kids, spa facilities. Great value, recommended!
