It was our last evening in France before catching an early ferry back to UK.

Did not have breakfast as we had to leave premises at 7 am to catch a ferry and the host didn't start making breakfast until 8 am . There is a little port, with restaurants a short walk from the house.

The host was delightful but a little slow on showing us to our room.

Charming, clean and wonderful

Not only were the rooms clean and well furnished but they also had thoughtful elements to make the stay so comfortable (e.g blackout shutters so you can sleep in). The best part of our stay was that the house was so beautiful, peaceful and the host was truly welcoming, giving us recommendations on where to eat and visit in the area. We left feeling charmed, taken care of and determined to go back soon!

Just an overnight stop for us but would have enjoyed a longer stay.

Cathy and Jean-Luc were lovely people, friendly and welcoming. I dropped a credit card in the driveway on arrival and it was picked up by a young lady staff member who retuned it to me, thank you very much for that. It would have been very pleasant to spend more time here and get to know the people here better.

We had to miss breakfast as it was avaiable only from 9am but we needed to leave at 7.30 to catch our ferry. Unfortunately we coul get no hot water for a shower, don't know what the problem was but had no time to have it fixed before leavig.

We could not believe we had arrived in such a lovely Chambres d’Hotes. Cathy and Jean Luc have created a fantastic place in excellent taste and yet some ‘fun ´ touches such as a model cow and real live happy chickens free to roam. Our room overlooking the garden was exquisite in all respects, everything has been thought of to make guests feel instantly comfortable and welcome. The linen, towels and toiletries are of good quality, cleanliness is 10/10 and the decor is beautiful with electronic shutters to ensure blackout. We were warmly greeted on arrival, and Cathy recommended a very good restaurant just a few minutes walk in to town. Breakfast was particularly good value and we just had to taste Jean Luc’s home made chocolate spread. We found Villa de Cathay at the last moment and are delighted that we did as it was such a great place to spend the last night of our 3 weeks stay in France. We intend to go back there for a short break in the autumn as the beaches are within walking distance and there is a fantastic restaurant « L’Intuition’ close by. Thank you Cathy and Jean Luc for being such excellent friendly hosts.

Cathy and Jean Luc are really great hosts with a sense of humor, very good french breakfast including fresh baguette, pain au chocolat, croissants, homemade jams, yoghurt and even mousse au chocolat, huge garden with nice little chicken, host were very helpful concerning restaurants and infrastructure around

Beautifully decorated new room and bathroom, very comfortable bed and shower. Super welcoming host had prepared an itinerary to walk via the small port of Dives sur Mer to Cabourg and gave us suggestions on where to eat. Good breakfast with bread, baguette, croissants and homemade goodies. Enjoyed our overnight stay very much. Convenient for us was the possibility to park the car in the enclosed garden.

Cathy est une hôte formidable et attentionnée. Le domaine est superbe, proche de tout mais au calme. La maison d’hôte a beaucoup de charme et la literie est d’un confort exceptionnel. Le petit déjeuner est excellent également, c’est une adresse que l’on garde !

Un séjour très agréable.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le jardin au calme, ses arbres fruitiers. La superficie des chambres très agréable, propre, avec une sde propre et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner (en sus), avec diverses sortes de pain, des confitures et yaourt maison. Les recommandations de Cathy et son savoir sur la région. Sans oublier la possibilité de se garer dans l'enceinte de la propriété.

Pas grand chose, helas les sieges de jardin n'étaient pas très propres ;) Les poules n'avaient pas assez pondu pour déguster des œufs frais.

Un havre de paix pour un week-end à Cabourg

Cathy est super accueillante. Elle fait son métier d’hôte avec cœur et passion, c’est un plaisir d’être hébergé chez une personne ayant un contact si facile et agréable. Cathy a le souci du détail, la propreté des chambres et la qualité de la literie sont irréprochables. Nous avons passé un week-end en juillet et avons pu profiter de très agréables petits déjeuners dans son grand jardin, où les poules gambadent au milieu des arbres fruitiers, de vrais moments de plaisir. Cathy a contribué à ce que notre week-end à Cabourg soit réussi. Nous recommandons absolument. ❤️

Cathy enthousiaste gastvrouw De rustige ligging, Fantastische bedden, heerlijk ontbijt met zelfgemaakte producten.

We hadden deze B&B gekozen vanwege het feit dat er op de site stond opladen voor elektrische auto’s. Helaas was dit niet mogelijk en moesten we elders opladen. In het vervolg zullen we eerst bellen om dit van te voren te checken.

Une adresse formidable

Adresse formidable, au grand calme, pour aller visiter Cabourg (15mn à pieds), le joli village de Dives, et toute la région qui regorge de richesses. Parking dans la cour et terrasse devant le grand jardin décoré avec beaucoup d’humour. La chambre est extrêmement agréable, décorée avec goût, literie excellente, salle de bain ultra confort avec beaucoup d’attentions. Cathy et Jean-Luc sont d’une grande gentillesse et toujours disponibles. Et, pour confirmer tout ce qui a déjà été écrit, le petit déjeuner est à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte, véritable feu d’artifices de produits maisons, et tous bios, s’il vous plait ! On a tout simplement adoré !
