About this house rental

** Work recently completed (July 2023): construction of a heated swimming pool secured by a shutter. Available for rental from 12/08/2023 **

Pretty house with character overlooking the countryside on a large wooded property (enclosed area of ​​5000m2 facing south), while being close to amenities (supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy, municipal swimming pool less than 5 min away...).

The house breaks down as follows:

On the ground floor:

- An equipped kitchen (vitroceramic cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee maker)

- Living room (3-seater sofa, 50-inch flat-screen TV, extendable dining table with 8 chairs)

- Bedroom n°1: 140x190 bed, closed wardrobe, chest of drawers

- Corridor serving the toilets and the shower room (washing machine)

Upstairs :

- Bedroom n°2 in a row for two children with 90 x 190 bunk beds, chest of drawers and desk

- Bedroom n°3 with a large double bed 180 x 200, wardrobe, chest of drawers and full-length mirror.

The three bedrooms enjoy views of the garden, the pool and the hills.

We can provide you with a travel cot with mattress (60x120 cm) as well as a changing mat.

Outside, the garden extends over 5000m2 including a wooded part. You will have at your disposal a terrace with a large dining table, a barbecue and a parasol to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the countryside. A large garden furniture is also at your disposal to enjoy the calm in complete relaxation as well as 3 deckchairs, 2 deckchairs, 1 rest chair.

The property is completely fenced.

The environment and the neighborhood are extremely quiet. If you are looking for a place where serenity and privacy reign, you have found it.

Nearby points of interest: Brantôme-en-Périgord (35 mins), Périgueux (40 mins), Sarlat (Lascaux caves), Saint-Emilion (1h) Bordeaux (1h30), Dune du Pilat (2h), Aubeterre ( 15 mins), Jemaye pond and beach (15 mins).

Access: Angoulême or Libourne TGV station (50 mins), A89 motorway (20 mins), Bordeaux or Bergerac airports.

We had a lovely relaxing stay everything we needed it was nice coming back to enjoy the beautiful view and watch the wildlife after a day out site seeing and owners were very helpful

Located in a small hamlet just outside the small town of Riberac, the house has plenty of outside space with large front and rear gardens. This offers shade and sun at your wish, and peace and privacy without being isolated. There are many beautiful villages within easy driving distance and the major attractions of the region are within comfortable reach. Having visited these in the past we focussed on exploring the more local and discovered many great places and cafés. The house is clearly well cared for, decorated and furnished to a high standard for a holiday home. The owners have not cluttered all the shelves and cupboards with their own stuff, as so many others do, leaving you with the chance to make it a home of your own during your stay. Communication with the owners was excellent. We had no problems during our stay but were confident that they would have been on hand had we needed help. They provided a series of videos to explain (in English for us) how to use the essential appliances – an excellent idea. A smart tv, with subscriptions, was available to use as we wished plus a welcoming gift. We have had many similar holidays in France. So far, we have never gone back to the same property preferring to explore different parts of the country. If we return to France again, and we hope to do so, we may well break that pattern by returning here. We had a fabulous holiday. Thanks to Amélie, Laurence, and Ben for all their help.
