Lovely guest house but located in Apt

Lovely guest house and wonderful, plentiful breakfasts. Very gracious host (owners were away -- Roger took very good care of us).

The listing said it was on Bonnieux and it was in Apt. This was not a GPS issue -- the owners clearly put Bonnieux as the location. We made due, a bit out of the way, but the property itself made up for the location.

Breakfast excellent, if a bit the same each day. It was generous so we often had breakfast leftovers for our lunch. View from the private balcony is spectacular . Staff very helpful and informative about the area, assisted with restaurant bookings

We were there for six days, a washing machine would have been good (other places provide them) . It’s in the town of Apt, which is not like the Provence villages, but access to those villages was very good

Wonderful hosts in great location with delicious breakfast provided

From the first interaction the experience was better than any of our stays in France. A fresh bottle of sparkling water and Rose was waiting on our arrival and we were met for a quick tour of our accommodation. The accommodation was comfortable, well equipped and in an easy location to enjoy the surrounds of Apt. The hosts helped book dinner at a local restaurant and provided suggestions for places to visit that suited our interests. Desiree is very knowledgeable on which towns, walks and attractions are worth visiting and only too happy to help. The breakfast was generous, fresh and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Superb

The breakfast was wonderful! Michel and Desiree were so good to us. The construction was new and done with quality workmanship. The deck was great for relaxing at the end of the day. The bathroom was wonderful.

We had to walk up a flight of outside stairs to access the property. The location was in a town that was more industrial when we were expecting it to be a small village.

It was great vacation

Serving a breakfast in the basket is a great idea ( especially in covid time ) ! Great local products selected with love, actually it was enough for us till the diner. Owners are trying to help with everything , for example find an option for dinner for guests arriving late ...

Fantastic stay in the Luberon

Villa Domitia was exceptional from start to finish. We had a warm welcome from Michel and Desiree, who were really helpful with recommendations in the local area. The room was nicely decorated, comfortable and really well equipped. The terrace is wonderful, with great views across the valley. Breakfast was fantastic, and so plentiful we often had leftovers for lunch! Highly recommend!

Dream of a Provence getaway

Lovely kind hosts, incredible view, beautiful big terrace with a great outdoor shower to cool down and every detail in the room and bathroom was in perfect harmony and so wonderfully designed! Desirée and Michel are so open and welcoming, prepared a delicious breakfast and took such great care of us <3 We hope to come back soon, thank you two so much!

There is literally nothing to complain about. Be aware of the mosquitos though :)

The best place in the Luberon

We had a fantastic stay at Desiree and Michel's bed and breakfast! The room was quite spacious with a very comfortable bed. It was also super clean. The bathroom had a pleasant shower. The view from the terrace showed beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed the large breakfast as well. Desiree and Michel were the best hosts you could wish for; very accomodating and helpful. Definitely value for the money.

The place is very new and neat. The hosts have been exceptionally welcoming and have been available for recommendations in the surroundings and very good travel advice. The house is in the middle of the nature, with a very nice outdoor shower for hot days. The sunset view is the best. Excellent breakfast and very timely.

Séjour reposant au milieu de la nature

L’emplacement est vraiment très bien, la vue y est des plus agréable et le personnel y est très accueillant

Un petit manque d’une télévision, il est vrai qu’avec la vue que l’on a, on peut un peu s’en passer mais lorsque la nuit tombe assez tôt, cela peut un peu manquer une fois enfermé dans la chambre. Surtout que parfois être à l’extérieur peut être un peu désagréable à cause de la présence des moustiques.

Wunderschöne Aussicht mit Sonnenuntergang

Modernes Holz-Sonnendeck mit spektakulärer Aussicht in die weite Landschaft. Die zwei unabhängigen Apartments darauf sind diskret unterschieden, auch mit ihren Außenbereichen, aber man kann einander grüßen. Jedes (!) Apartment hat auch eine Außendusche. Zu Fuß nach Apt hinunter kommt man in ca. 20 Minuten, es kommt einem aber kürzer vor. Für den Heimweg bei Dunkelheit sollte man eine Taschenlampe mitnehmen. Wir haben von Roger sehr gute Empfehlungen zum Essen erhalten. Das „Le France“ empfehlen wir gerne wieder. Frühstück: Sehr praktisch, nämlich zur verabredeten Zeit als Tablett serviert (gerne draußen) mit frischem Baguette und Gebäck, herzhaften und süßen Aufstrichen, weichen Eiern, Joghurt, Obst und frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Im Apartment gibt es alles nötige Geschirr und Besteck dafür, darum kümmert man sich selbst, ebenso um Kaffee und Tee. Guter Kühlschrank mit Eisfach - vielen Dank für die Flasche Wein!

Leider gab es viele Stechmücken. Netterweise hat der Vermieter Repellent bereitgestellt, danke! Es wäre gut, im Badezimmer ein Insektenschutzgitter anzubringen, dann wäre es möglich, hier nachts zu lüften, und man bräuchte nicht immer die Klimaanlage.

Sehr angenehm und entspannend

Frühstück war sehr gut, reichhaltig, baguette frisch vom Bäcker. Perfekt. Total ruhig. Neues gemütliche Zimmer und total sauberes, modernes Badezimmer. Kleine Küchenzeile, aber alle wichtigen Dinge wie Wasserkocher, mobile Herdplatte, Cafemaschine vorhanden. Nach einem ereignisreichen Urlaubstage eine Phase der Ruhe. Angenehme Terrassenmöbel incl. Dusche in Freien. Unterkunft liegt einige Höhenmeter über Apt. Zufahrt NUR mit ...Website aufschlagen und mit Google maps navigieren. Nicht mit Navi !! Alles in allem ein entspannter Ort um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Herzliche Gastgeber darf nicht unerwähnt bleiben.

Alles war perfekt für einen dreitägigen Aufenthalt. Die Terrasse ist ein Traum, das Badezimmer ist großzügig eingerichtet mit hochwertigen Duschartikeln. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und konnten uns tolle Tipps geben. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist fantastisch.

Desayuno impresionante. Gran calidad y cantidad. Francamente inmejorable. El trato por la propietaria fué `perfecto. Diariamente nos dió instucciones repecto a las actividades a hacer y así mismo gestionó personalmente la cena en diversos restaurantes de la zona.

Wie nach Hause kommen...

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück kam immer mit einem Lächeln und lieben Tipps für diese wunderbare Region. Die Aussicht ist besonders am Abend wunderschön. Es ist absolut kein Problem wenn man kein Französisch spricht, mit Englisch kommt man hier sehr weit. Durch Apt hat man alles wichtige nah zusammen. Es war so schön, dass man es liebend gern weiter empfiehlt.
