A friendly local pub, with decent food and accommodation. All staff were exceptional, really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would have no hesitation in returning to stay there

Very comfortable room above a very friendly pub serving good meals. Only a 5 minute drive from Kendal. Lovely hosts and staff!
No food on the Sunday after 6pm (we arrived about 7pm)

Easy to get to Easy access , young staff excellent helpful, Food excellent, could do breakfast if we asked but didn’t bother, room clean. Good tv channels. Easy check out.
On main road noisey passing traffic at times. Bed very uncomfortable, pillows lumpy, glad I bought my own.
