Very complete private house from Dutch owner. Situated in a small urban village with one taverne open when we where there. The house is spacy with all you need inside and outside except a magnetron. In the garden on the back of the house, there is a nice recreation area with view over the garden. A small dompelbad is available for use. The wifi is very fast. Nice online contact with the owner.
Parking is not next to the house but on walking distance on the main road.

Location. Space inside and out. Plunge pool.
Shower pressure very poor. Parking could be tricky (didn’t like using track to house as it had a collapsed pipe. This was repaired whilst we were there, although the rain washed half of the repair away).

The house,position, gardens and vicinity, a perfect place for tranquility and nature.
with two tavernas, if needed.
The house, in keeping with the area (small village)and restoration, is basic
in it's furniture.
Even with the issues I encountered (see dislikes) I enjoyed my time here.
The house felt like the owner had just gone out for the day, with all the
belongings left in place, clothes,books, bedding etc.
The first night was 'itchy' on further investigation in the morning, it was found that the mattress topper was infested with tiny ants, and badly stained along with the mattress protector,also stained.
On contacting the owner immediately, who lives elsewhere (+30) through Booking. com, the situation was resolved by midday by the house representative, who lives in another village 2-3 km away.
I found parking difficult,no designated place and parking on the road already taken,where possible, and the road through the village has a no stopping or parking sign!! It was suggested that I ask a neighbour to park outside their property, I feel that this situation should be addressed by the owner and not left to guests. I returned my hire car after 3days of my 14 night stay, after stocking up on food/water. using a taxi to leave.
Unlike other vacation homes, there was no water /edibles on arrival. A bottle of wine was left though.
