Perfect wee retreat (extra cozy in winter!)

The bothy was absolutely perfect! Just big enough to feel comfortable and spacious but small enough to be cozy! The perfect winter retreat with the log burner on and a good book. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

A romantic and loving stay at the Bothy

Everything is beautiful and stylish in the Bothy, the view is absolutely stunning from the bothy, very modern equipped and the fireplace is so great, we had an romantic 3 Days stay at the Bothy

The Bothy was difficult to find, the owner sent me an Email with a map to find the Bothy at the day when we were on the way, we finally found it

Fantastic accommodation and happy to recommend to anyone visiting the area

Location was fantastic. Well off the main road so traffic noise is definitely not a problem at this accommodation. Hosts were great and made the effort to say hello. The Bothy itself is well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay, even a pint of milk in the fridge and some welcome biscuits which was very much appreciated. Everything was immaculately clean. A really comfortable stay had.

Not a criticism by any stretch but the decking at the front is pretty slippery so worth approaching with caution during the winter months or perhaps worth considering some kind of matting.

Beautiful lodge with friendly hosts and an incredible view over Speyside.

Super comfortable lodge with clean and well laid out facilities. A beautiful view looking out of the lodge with some surprise peacocks! Friendly hosts and super easy check in process.

The bed and living room were all in one central space so not a huge amount of privacy.

A lovely stay

The Bothy was beautiful and in a lovely location overlooking the rural countryside. It had everything we needed and more and the bed was very comfortable.

The owners were very very helpful but maybe a little to “there”. Almost felt like we were being kept an eye on.

An excellent place to stay.

The views across towards the coastline were amazing. The property was more spacious than expected. The shower was extremely powerful which was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. We liked watching the cows, peacocks, peahens and chickens. Great location for visiting many places. Thanks for the fresh quails eggs. The owners were away but we were made to feel very welcome by their daughter and the dog sitter.

It was a shame we couldn't leave the door open as the weather was very hot, because flys kept coming in. It would have been better with a beaded curtain (for example) for air flow.

Perfect stay for relaxing country views.

The bothy was nicely furnished and quite comfortable. It was delightful to watch the peacocks, chickens and cows. Owners were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for local visits and hidden gems.

It would have been nice to have a map of the walks around the quarry. I got lost in the woods.

The property had everything you could need for a short or long stay. The hosts are very generous and friendly people. Perfect for a stay if visiting Speyside, Lossiemouth, Elgin, or just need time away from the city.

Superb

Great views out across the moray firth and lots of stars at night. Nice welcome pack, well equipped and very clean throughout. Good warm shower and comfortable bed and sofa. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Fire alarm(s?) went off at 2am after using the toaster. It would have been understandable if the toast was burned but it was only a medium-well done and the alarm was extremely loud and too high to turn off. My partner gets anxious and it was quite an unpleasant experience for her. A note of warning included in with the WiFi instructions and perhaps a long cane for turning the alarms off would be useful

Short stay to go to a wedding in the area. Great location for a Speyside trip with superb views.

Lovely accommodation with everything we needed and more. Enjoyed the fresh eggs provided and we were very comfortable during our stay.

Lots of windows so window blackouts would of been good with the early morning Scottish summer sunrises.
