Not to be repeated!

Location is excellent, car park to the rear is ideal.

The tv in the bedroom only showed BBC1 and 2, when my husband spoke to the owner he saw this as a trivial matter and we could do without it for our stay - it would have been better had there not been a tv in the bedroom to begin with. The tv in the lounge did work. Previous occupants had left behind food, cheese sandwiches in the fridge, oranges in a cupboard and half empty jars and bottles, even a deodorant in the bathroom - very offputting. The smaller bedroom smelt of damp. The entrance close isn't welcoming - bird droppings etc everywhere.

Very enjoyable but a few modifications would have made it even better

Location excellent. Appreciated the WiFi which was not advertised, so a pleasant surprise!

Struggled with stiff taps; with operating the TVs - were there simple instructions that we missed? Couldn’t reach heater switch in bathroom! no heated towel rail so drying towels was difficult. No freezer section in fridge to store frozen food. A couple of blankets and a few more mugs etc would have been welcome!

Good, convenient and just what was needed.

The flat is in a great and convenient location, spacious and plenty of all the things you need to use. Would say the matteress in the larger room is very uncomfortable (could be personal preference) the kitchen and living room floors had lots of bits left, not swept well maybe and the sofa cushions havnt been moved in a while as there was a lot of dirt under them. The flat above has very noisey floor boards so just be warned (not this place at fault for that). We certainly would return.

Worst stay in the “ booking.com” accommodation.

Only the location and opportunity to have a parking spot on site.

Very bad smell everywhere, terrible bathroom conditions, very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom towels were thin and small, nothing to do with the title “Luxury “. Not sure how is listed in booking.com?

This apartment is in a perfect location - right on the High Street, but with a quiet arear at the back, private parking and no problem with any noise disturbances. Within easy walking distance of restaurants and bars and local sights. Helpful, friendly and reactive host

Decent place to stay for a few nights, but wouldn't call it 'luxury'!

Great location and good size. Washing machine was very efficient.

Open food in the fridge and on the shelves. Spare pillow from the wardrobe had a manky pair of leggings wrapped around it. Seemed as though someone lives there but had moved out for a few days to accommodate us. Mattress in second bedroom was terrible.

Basic flat in need of renovation in central convenient location.

Good welcome from host, central location. Spacious flat and clean on arrival.

The flat is not luxury as described. The entrance way is needing to be cleaned and tidied. The decor is very tired and the fittings feel old. The bathroom was particularly in need of renovation. The shelf was held up with empty toilet rolls. No service during 6 night stay so bin not emptied or towels changed. Having to remember to turn the hot water on before a shower was inconvenient and at times I had cold showers as I had forgotten. Instructions for using the oven would be helpful. This flat has the potential to be great with some investment and workmanship.

Location is ideal. Very spacious apartment.

Perhaps a little more attention to detail. Remove items (obviously left by previous guests) I.e out of date cereals,sauces,spices,pasta also toiletries. Replace the TV to a more modern version it took us a little while to work it out. Remove the one in bedroom it didn’t work at all. Plus it will give more space on the lovely cabinet in that room.

Very clean apartment, bed linen spotless, comfortable towels, easy to access, very central. Got everything needed.

Beds and mattresses need to be improved. It would be nice to have a better blackout curtains it's to bright in the bedroom.

Great location, lovely big apartment

Lovely big open plan kitchen and living area, great location in the middle of the town. Nice powerful shower.

Only small gripe was that you need to remember to turn the hot water on at least half an hour before you need a shower. We forgot this and ended up really rushed getting ready for the wedding we were attending.

Entrance area could do with a clean up as does not reflect the interior of the property. Needs a bit of emulsion on the interior to smarten it up!

Comfortable stay in an excellent location

Excellent location, quiet even though it’s in the high street, residents have permission to park in the street which was handy. The flat was very spacious, warm and cozy. The host responded quickly and was very helpful replacing light bulbs in the bedrooms’ side tables.

The living room could have been more thoroughly cleaned. I think probably someone with a dog stayed before us as there were hairs in the corners of the room. The rest of the house was ok. It would have been handy to have washing up liquid and a scourer.

Worth a visit

Furnished & equipped to a very high standard. Central location with lots of lovely eating places a short walk away.

Unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues as access to the flat is up a steep stone staircase with no handrail.

Location was on a high street parking the car wasn’t good at all.

Entrance was at end of steep concrete steps with no hand rails in place. It became an issue as my wife fell backwards down the stairs I just managed to get hold of her before head hit the bottom step.

Roomy apartment.

Great property nicely laid out with all the facilities you could ask for. Access was easy through a shared covered staircase and key collection and drop off was simple. If there’s more than 2 of you staying you might need to use the boost on the hot water heater if you’re all having showers in the morning.

Good base if your on holiday.

Lovely and spacious, had everything we needed. Kitchen was great and everything was easy to use. Nice living room and bedrooms were a good size, loads of storage too for all your clothes if you happen to be staying longer!

Bear in mind it's town centre so there might be a little more noise than your used to BUT the fact it's town centre is great because everything is on your doorstep. Few snagging issues in the flat but nothing that affected our stay!
