About this house rental
We are renting out our family home, which was renovated in 2018. The upper floor features 4 bedrooms with 3 double beds and 2 single pull-out beds (perfect for children), offering beautiful views of the Auvergne mountains.
On the first floor, you’ll find a large living/dining room with a big table and a spacious sofa—ideal for stays with friends or family—as well as a kitchen, a small bathroom (shower), and a separate toilet.
In front of the house is a small fenced-in grassy area, but there are plenty of opportunities for long walks along the surrounding trails and in the mountains. There is also a veranda, which still needs some sprucing up.
In the village, there are no shops other than the bar, run by my father just a few meters from the house, who will be happy to welcome you and tell you the story of this little village (open only on weekends, but all week long in July and August). A 5-minute drive away, in the village of Anzat-Le-Luguet, you’ll find a bakery.
Nearby, during the winter season, you can go cross-country skiing (Parrot, 2 km) or hit the slopes at Super-Besse (25 km).
In any season, you can explore the Ardes-sur-Couze Wildlife Park (16 km), Lake Pavin – Lake Chauvet – Lake Chambon (swimming), or visit the Château de Murol (35–40 km) and sample cheese in Saint-Nectaire, a town that also features thermal baths and a casino.

Nous aimons le calme et la tranquillité parfait, de plus les petits enfants se sont "éclatés" dans la neige. Séjour très agrèable, par contre un peu éloigné des commodités

Location adéquate pour petit séjour en Auvergne sachant que nous avons été plus à l'extérieur que dans la location. Une chose serait à améliorer c est l l'équipement d'un salon extérieur pour les petits-déjeuners ou repas du soir.
