Worst experience ever!
This is the worst experience (and hopefully the last of its kind) I have ever had in an apartment in Croatia. The first day of our arrival we wanted to take a shower and I realized that there were no towels available, which is a legal obligation according to the categorization of 2 and 3 star apartments in Croatia and is seen as a minimum that must be provided to the guest (this apartment has 3*). The answer of the host was that they don' t provide towels to their guests and that it was not included in the price! After an argument I got a couple of their own towels with a comment that it's a favor done to me!!! So, I recommend the owner to look into detail at the obligations he must fulfill if he already claims to have 3 stars, otherwise the State Inspectorate punishes non-compliance with the provided categorization. Secondly, which is really unacceptable and humiliating, my reservation clearly stated 2 separate bedrooms, which was visible in the picture in the ad as well. However, when I arrived I got an apartment with 1 room. When I showed the Booking confirmation and the ad on Booking, the lady who takes care of the apartment (the owner does not live here) rudely told me that she was not interested in what was written on Booking and that I could not get 2 rooms for that price! She mockingly told me that 45 euros per night was too little for 2 rooms, even though I bought such an offer! The worst moment was when I saw in front of my eyes that she was trying to rent that other room to another person, knowing that I had already paid for it. Of course, I immediatly contacted Booking and warned them of the fraud and disregard for the given categorization. Since I stayed only 3 days, I did not have the strength to move to another apartment, although Booking offered me to find another apartment where the owner would have to make up the difference in price.
