Macari Residence Central Apartment

Ottima struttura. La location è fantastica il suo punto di forza è la piscina sempre al sole. Posto tranquillo e in due minuti si raggiunge in auto la fantastica spiaggia di macari e in cinque minuti il centro di San Vito lo Capo. Il nostro alloggio era moderno, mobili nuovissimi ben tenuto e pulito.

Il parcheggio è in un piazzale polveroso che nel mese di agosto è sempre completo e si è costretti a parcheggiare lungo la strada. L'aria condizionata in basso è un po' penalizzante e nelle giornate particolarmente calde e umide un po' insufficiente. Per fortuna ci sono le ventole a soffitto che lavorano alla grande.

L’appartamento si trova in una posizione strategica per raggiungere San Vito e le spiagge libere che si trovano nei dintorni (il bue marino e la spiaggia di Macari). La struttura offre l’accesso ad una piscina ad uso esclusivo dei residenti: un sogno ad occhi aperti a pochi passi dal mare. Casa pulita, ordinata e spaziosa immersa nel verde.

The complex itself is fantastic, especially for large families or groups of friends. There are multiple apartments and houses, so everyone can stay together while still enjoying their own space and privacy. The pool, communal areas and large grassy spaces are excellent for children—they can spend the whole day outdoors without getting bored. Angela, the owner/manager, is incredibly helpful, responsive and easy to communicate with. The Wi-Fi also worked well throughout our stay.

The apartment itself, however, is quite tired and could benefit from some updating. I would not recommend it for more than four people. The sofa bed is very old, uncomfortable and sags in several places, making it unsuitable for sleeping. Also, only the main bedroom has air conditioning; the second bedroom does not, although both rooms are equipped with fans. One thing future guests should be aware of is that there is an additional charge of €15 per person for bed linen and towels. This information was not disclosed to me on Booking.com at the time I made the reservation, so it came as an unexpected extra cost.
