About this house rental

Located within walking distance to Xavier University and minutes from the Central Business district of Cincinnati as well as stadiums, hospitals, Newport on the Levee, and many other Cincinnati landmarks. You have access to the entire house and backyard. Large, private master suite on third floor and four guest bedrooms on the second floor. Dogs are welcome for a $25 per pet per night fee added after booking. Please disclose at the time of booking. Max 2 pets.

Older home however clean and comfortable

Place was very clean and everything worked well. The landscaping along the steps needed work. I am still waiting for my deposit refund to be applied to my credit card. Hopefully soon. It’s already come up on my bill.

We loved having all of our family under one roof. The issues we encountered were: Not enough towels for the guests, the AC could not keep up and it was at least 80 degrees upstairs with no fans to plug in to circulate the air, railings going up the steep stairs were loose, trashcan outside was overflowing, some of the blinds in the bedroom need replacing because multiple slates were missing, and some of the sheets had stains on them.

The inside is cute, nicely decorated however, blinds definitely need to replaced in most room due to missing blind slats on most. the second was comfortable as long as all bedroom doors we opened, once you closed the door the bedroom didn’t have feel like the house was air conditioned, bring a fan with you if you plan on staying on the second floor. The master bedroom on the third floor was nice, sink/mirror in the master bathroom was very small due to the ceilings, it was not usable to do hair and makeup. The master bedroom did have its own air conditioning unit and a ceiling fan. The room was nice and cold the whole time. The back yard looked nothing like the phot, when mentioned to the host we were told the photo was taken when the turf was first put down but they had a hard time with it taking due to the shade. I tried to attach a photo of the current condition of the back yard but VRBO indicates the photo is invalid or exceed size limit, it’s just a refusal photo snapped on my iPhone. I will try to describe it, a broken chair in one corner a small table and chair were in the other corner covered it tree branches and debris. There were two usable chairs around the fire pit , however the there was no grass just dirt/mud. The house next door is very unkept, while it is not under the control of the host, it was very unsightly, some houses on the street where very lovely while others were run down needing some repairs.

We had a group of 6 in town for a baseball game and celebrating a wedding. The home is very comfortable and very true to posting. The check in process was easy, communication with host was great. The area was a nice uber ride to really anywhere we needed to go. Nice seating area in kitchen and living room which are open so we enjoyed that. Kitchen had all that we needed for the weekend.

We stayed 2 nights to visit Cinci and run the Spartan Super 10k. The house was perfect. Neighborhood was quiet. Close to Xavier University and just a short trip to get to downtown. Highly recommend and will rebook in the future when we come back to Cinci.

The inside of the house was great and very clean! The only exception was that the garbage disposal was broken and labeled don't use, and the furniture was all cheap Ikea furniture. The neighborhood, however, was really bad. The houses in the neighborhood look essentially abandoned with broken and boarded up windows. This was one of maybe three houses in the neighborhood that had been fixed up and repainted. The streets were also tiny and full of parked cars, even though the houses looked abandoned. It was very difficult to navigate through the street because there was barely room for one car with all the cars parked on both sides of the street.

Everything about our time at this beautiful property was excellent. The location is great, an easy quick walk to the XU campus and a great brewery, Listermann Brewing Company. The house is beautiful and cozy and it’s very well stocked, you will find everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. Also the owners were great with communication and follow up.

The house was great ... very clean and well appointed ... looked like just about everything had been updated. There was one parking space in front most of the time ... if there are more cars than one in your party then parking could be a problem. The street is narrow and cars park on both sides. The neighborhood appears to be going through a renewal period ... this house was probably one of the best on the block. Having said that, it was very quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings. The location is very convenient to downtown Cincinnati and the Zoo. Overall, it was very comfortable and the host was easy to work with. I would recommend staying here when you are in Cincinnati.

We loved the property. There is no restroom on the main level, which can be a bit of a drawback, for some. The owner communicated with us daily. It was perfect for going to the Great American Ballpark. There is a restaurant close by called Kings. It was amazing and everyone working there was wonderful.

Upon arrival to the house, you might second guess yourself if you got the address correct. This house is a hidden treasure in a quiet neighborhood. The inside was just as described. VERY clean and well stocked with plenty of towels, pillows, and the items we needed in the kitchen. Does come with the quirks of an order home, but that is expected. Parking can be tricky if you’re bringing a large vehicle. I can’t speak to the location around the Cinci area as we just came to town to visit the Ark Encounter.

This was a great location to all the fun activities in Cincinnati. Just a quick drive will get you anywhere in town. The home was welcoming and my kids loved it. Located in an old part of town the home is charmingly updated but with the quirks of an old home. The kitchen was adequately stocked with utilities, dishes and cookware. Clean bathrooms and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable and a morning on the porch swing was delightful. Limited parking but we made it work with our full size truck.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. So beautiful with lots of attention to detail, decor is lovely and happy. Soft pillows and mattresses on the beds are perfect and comfy! The host has made sure there are plenty of seats for dining and everything was so clean. (I mean really clean.😊) Kitchen well stocked with cookery and delightful to create dinners in.. The hostess, Joanne, is very kind and quick to respond with answers to our questions. Thank you so much for opening your home to our family! 🏡

Coming from Northern Michigan, I felt a little out of place in the neighborhood, but nevertheless, we had a great stay! The host was easy to work with and the house was clean, updated, and cute. The kitchen was fully stocked. It was only 7 min from The Univ of Cinncinati. Parking was tricky with more than 2 cars but we were warned about that prior so we expected it. Overall, great house and close to downtown!

Charming, cozy, comfortable home that is beautifully decorated. Everything in the home seemed newly updated. Was a great location for getting around Cincinnati! Parking was a little difficult during our stay for several cars since only one spot was available in front of the house. Otherwise, it was a perfect place for larger groups.
