About this house rental
It is a cosy and comfortable house just 700 m from the Port du Canal next to the picturesque and lively Port de Larros. It is comfortably equipped for 6 people with 3 bedrooms, one with a living room-office space, all with storage space and new bedding, a kitchen open to the friendly dining area with its high table and the living room with a sofa. . Two patio doors open onto the terrace - swimming pool and lounge and another terrace for your meals. 2 shower-room (one of which with WC and direct acces from ,parental sleeping-room) complete the set. The second WC is separate. A lawned garden runs alongside the house. NEW : Air-conditioning

We had a lovely week in Gujan-Mestras. The self check in was very convenient and it was a lovely surprise to find a chilled bottle of white wine in the fridge. We also very much appreciated other thoughtful presents! Communication with Barbara was excellent, even though we did not met; she was quick to respond and helpful with tips etc.
The house is comfortable and very well equipped, especially the kitchen is a delight. The advanced air conditioning system is adjustable per room and is absolutely silent. The covered terrace is nice and convenient and around the house are several nice places in the sun or shade to sit. Excellent bakery and butcher 5 minutes walk, also some other shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. By train (station 10 minutes walk) you are in the heart of Arcachon within 15 minutes. So you can stay here without a car. Keep in mind that the location (the terrace and pool area) is not totally private and that the immediate surroundings are not particularly beautiful (we thought). For families it is perhaps inconvenient that there is only 1 toilet and 1 bathroom. We found the back (master) bedroom and bathroom a bit stuffy and smelly.
All in all, we would definitely recommend this house, especially if the price-quality ratio would be better balanced.

Maison parfaite comme sur les photos magnifiques, confort ,joli design tout le nécessaire à l’arrivée pour ne pas courir les magasins , literie neuves et de qualité .
Tout commerce à proximité . Nous sommes ravis de ce séjour , les hôtes sont adorables et disponibles. Piscine de rêve en gros nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir merci mil fois pour ce séjour de rêve .

La maison est super-bien équipée avec tout pour passer des vacances réposantes. Bien placé pour découvrir les différentes attractions du Bassin d'Arcachon, on a été complètement satisfait. Mention spéciale pour la literie très confortable. Merci Barbara et Olivier.
