About this cabin rental

Nestled on 17 acres, this simple, but comfortable, 2 bed room cabin will fit your need for nature in an instant. With only 576 sq ft of living space, there is no television or internet...just the bare essentials. Nothing extravagant...just simple.

This cabin is found deep into a 17 acre wooded lot back a nearly half mile lane...in the winter a 4WD is required.

Once outside of the cabin, here is where this property satisfies your need for nature. With 17 wooded acres to explore, there are regular sightings of eagles, deer, turkeys and coyotes along with sounds of peep frogs, crickets, and owls.

Linens are NOT provided, so be sure to bring your own bed linens and towels. Each bedroom has a full size bed with a night stand and dresser.

You are certain to find a couple trees for your hammock if you would like to sleep under the stars. There is a nice open area with a fire ring to enjoy the evenings too.

Perfect, fully functional and clean cabin that has everything you need! The property is secluded, gorgeous and relaxing. I did bring a small tv with fire stick and was able to use my hot spot for those wondering. It’s definitely a place to detach from electronics but it’s nice to have the option for those that fall asleep to a show or movie. Owners are extremely responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

This was a perfect place to unwind for the weekend. Beautiful property- saw lots of deer, wild turkey and a red fox. Host responded promptly to questions and everything was very updated and worked. Very very clean! Great value too. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area!

It was the most modern comfortable CABIN, I have ever slept in. I thoroughly enjoyed the modern accommodation in the woods all by ourselves. It felt like we were in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains. What a wonderful experience while having all the comforts of home.

We had a great time! The property is beautiful and the cabin was very clean with more amenities and convenience than we expected. We would recommend to anyone! The Mohican canoe liveries are less then 15 minute drive with a gas station with firewood and plenty of snacks less then 5 minutes.

It had everything we needed and was really clean. We love how private it feels, and it’s only about 15 minutes to the park and canoeing. Such a great getaway for us, and we can’t wait to come back next year.

Lovely little cottage, great for relaxing. Everything was clean. The kitchen was big enough to cook easily and had pots and pans and everything we needed. Air conditioning worked well. Great trees for hanging hammocks and a peaceful setting where our dog could run around. She was so happy. The check in process was easy. My only suggestion would be to replace at least one of the full size beds with a queen. It was a tight squeeze for my husband and I with a full size. Only for that reason we probably won’t return.

This cozy little cabin is our favorite getaway! Easy check-in and out. Cooking and eating utensils are ready for you and your loved ones. Please bring linens. Our host is extremely gracious so please be respectful and have a wonderful family experience. Mornings here are blissful!

We had a great stay at this cabin for 2 nights. Everything was as described in the listing and the cabin was perfect. The location is amazing - we enjoyed breakfast and dinner outside - enjoying the scenery. It was also a short drive into town, so it was a perfect balance of being remote and still being close to things. The hosts were fantastic and very responsive. We recommend watching the video provided in the listing for how to get to the site. We would stay here again!

Even the drive down the driveway feels like you are in the middle of nowhwere. The best part about it is the serenity of the outdoor area. The cabin is just a 2 bedroom with 1 bath and eat in kitchen. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is a good size with enough to cook in if you want. We cooked on the firepit and had smores one night with the little kit Kim left for us. Not sure who loved walking the properry more, us or the dog. The inly thing missing would be a comforatble sitting area inside. We had wonderful weather so it was a non issue but maybe something that would be needed in inclement weather. We will definitly book again!

The land is gorgeous! The view of the field in the sun is very pretty. The driveway is long and wooded and it makes it feel like you are going way off grid we loved it! So much room to play with the dog nice wide open area to play!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here. It had all the amenities we needed. The space felt clean and cozy. The backyards was very spacious and we definitely made use of the bonfire. Fire wood, coffee and smores ingredients were graciously provided by the host. Walking around the property was beautiful, especially now during the fall. The stars are night were also amazing. Overall wonderful trip, we would love to come back!

The cabin is bigger than it looks in the pictires. It was clean and has two small bedrooms. The bathroom is akso nice and has a newer shower. It was a private lot with plenty of trees and scenery. We had a nice time even though the weather didn't cooperate. We hope to be back next year.

This cabin was perfect for our family get away. We were secluded enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife but close enough to town ( 15 min ) if we needed anything. Phone reception was good. The cabin itself was clean and very comfortable and there was even a firepit out back for smores, everything we needed was provided by our gracious Hostess, who was just a text away if we had any questions. We will plan our next vacation around the availability of this wonderful little wooded oasis!

A lovely cabin in a clearing in the woods away from people but close to the main recreational activities in the area. The cabin features a full mini kitchen complete with full size stove and oven, a reasonably sized refrigerator and a small dishwasher. Sunrises are beautiful. Between the window AC and overhead fan the cabin was very comfortable.
