One queen bed in room with mirror wall, one double bed and single bed in second bedroom. Restored by the Knox Landmarks Foundation in original format. Walk to downtown Mount Vernon. Free parking in rear. All new mechanicals. Very comfortable. Everything you need for a short or long stay. Proceeds benefit Knox County Landmarks Foundation. Roku tv. Washing machine and dryer.

The house was convenient to the venue where we had reservations for a dinner show. It was charming and clean, except for the unflushed toilet when we arrived. I had messaged the host on the vrbo site on 3/27 with a question about our stay, and never got a response. The front porch light didn't work, and we had difficulty getting the heating system to work. It got unseasonably cold the night we stayed, and we were uncomfortable while trying to get the house warmed up.

The property does welcome pets. Be aware that they have to be crated if you leave them unattended. I must have missed that requirement on the website.

This was a dog friendly rental—and over-priced for that reason ?? Part of the fee was listed as a donation which we appreciated. The house is easy walking to stores and restaurants/bars. The interior is too cluttered for us and the bed felt like it was from 1950 !!Needs to be replaced along with the bedding—cotton please
