Affordable apartment in a fantastic authentic feeling village.
This apartment is actually managed by the nearby Hotel and therefor you can make use of the hotel facilities like bar/breakfast/pool. Affordable safe parking was appreciated. The apartment itself was adequate and had everything a family needed. The locations of the hotel was ideal as it was tucked away from the crowd but still very close to Baveno center. We liked Baveno more then the nearby Stresa.
De apartment itself felt a bit outdated and was not very tastefully furnished. The livingroom corner was a bit of a let down. Tv didn't work properly (could not connect to any streaming service) and the seats were uncomfortable as they all were cheap sleeping sofa's. Because the apartment was on the ground floor you have no privacy when you want to have the windows open.

One from two receptionists (male) doesn’t know what is customer service, zero smiles, zero empathy, for all we asked he said no, even basic demand (help to order taxi - No, One extra towel - No, little bed for newborn - No or pay like for an extra adult bed). Even if he is right and clients are stupid (this he was trying to proof each time), being a bit friendly would make him still adding value, otherwise machine could do his job better. He did demonstrate that meeting hotel guests he is doing great favour even if hates his job.
