Excellent stay in a beautiful location with very welcoming hosts. Lovely touches like the delicious home-baked cake and bottle of milk that were left. Looking forward to returning soon.

As hosts David and Jackie are tremendous in their efforts in every detail. Welcomed as if we had been friends for years (we will be) all information given without overload, so keen to pass on their wealth of knowledge of the local area for which they care so much. Oh and the accommodation was superb! The local walks are sublime for adults and a real doggy heaven

It was exactly what you need from a holiday, relaxing, scenic (the view changes every day), lots of info re walks/ places to visit etc & perfect hosts.
I didn't want yo leave & will definately go back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodpeckers Cottage. Jacqui and Dave are friendly and made us feel very welcome. The cottage and its surroundings are beautiful and the local woods and walks make it perfect for a stay with a dog. Its location also makes it ideal for visits to Scarborough and Whitby. We hope to be back in future.
