no minuses, really, but at least one hair dryer should be supplied. Also regarding the hot water, guests should be informed from the beginning about the instructions found in the technical room (we found them by accident )

Location, location, but....

The location was perfect and the view was fantastic.

This property is practically a ski in, ski out and next to the lift for the Brevent ski area. But it is very old, full of personal items and knick knacks and there are many things that are 40 - 50 years old (including some of the mattresses, lamps, carpet, etc.). The driveway/walkway weren’t shoveled and were extremely icy and dangerous. It took six people an hour to unload / load the car and it was a miracle no-one slipped / got hurt. No instruction manuals or any kind of welcome information. Heating works well but very old radiators and it felt dangerous plugging things in to charge. Listing says pets permitted but owner has to approve weight and breed (labs are apparently too big). Listing also says WiFi available but it was not. It’s necessary to strip beds, take out trash and recycling, which is ok if you’re not struggling to not slip down a driveway. If you want to stay in your grandparents old house (albeit in a great location with fantastic view) this is your place.

Location, layout, atmosphere, all.

Hot water shower timer was not well planned as we lacked warm water to shower after skiing. Chalet sleeps 8 and is organised for 2 couples and 4 kids- not for 4 couples.
