Moxy Sion

It had all the basics you would need for a short stay with a nice concept. Staff was super helpful, Booking got us two reservastions for the same night due to Booking’s technical problems, however, the hotel accepted to cancel one of these reservastions although it was a non-refundable reservastion, they were really helpful.

staff were not very helpful, outskirts so not close to anything. room not really adequate for wheelchair user although it said it was a wheelchair adapted room. sink too high, so was the mirror.

Great hotel for an affordable stay near many world class ski resorts. This was a great base for our team.

We would have enjoyed a kettle and coffee in the rooms.

The room is modern and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have an office room near the lobby which is very helpful if you need to get some work done. There is a really good pastry shop just outside the hotel.

The temperature in the room was to high and you couldn't modify it. We slept with the window open and it was also too hot. The wifi can also be bad at times. it's a bit hard to reach by foot, 30 mins walk from the city center.

Arrived to the hotel knowing that it's location would not be the best. Was surprised that the decor actually matched the marketed photos. So far so good. However, at the check-in I was given a type of liability form to be signed (see the attached photo). This was an A4 size paper full of small print text. As this is unusual for a hotel check-in in Switzerland I started to read through it before signing it. The woman serving me however  interrupted me saying we only need a signature. I then told her I will read it through and then sign it. Her colleague (a seemingly unpleasant man with short dark hair and glasses) then interrupted us telling me that he will explain the form to me and then with a really condescending tone started to cross  things off individually and for example  explain to me what my name is. I then interrupted him by saying I do not need him to explain it, I simply want to read through it.  He then told me something like "we only want to help _nice_ guests but you sure do not need it" to which I replied "you do not need to talk to me like that" (as I obviously did understand the hidden insult). I must say that I am well able to read multiple languages and also work in customer service myself + treat contractual documents on a daily basis. If both of your employees would have left me in peace for a minute, no time would have been wasted and the stay could have been noted better. As I did not insult the man and also told him I do not want any trouble and simply want to read what I am signing, I then proceeded to continue reading it. Meanwhile I had to hear this man continue to complain to the colleague, sigh and show emotions that surely should have been saved for the back office. As a side note there also weren't more than 2 customers behind me.  I then signed the document, took a photo and asked the woman colleague if we booked breakfast  and wished her a nice evening.

My daughter had broken her leg skiing. Moxy breakfast room with its sunshine and great view of the Haut de Cry peak was a great place to hang out whilst awaiting return home.

very modern and minimal.

No storage at all. I mean to cupboard or any storage whatsoever. Only good for 1 night stay or small city break. Cleaning team was very loud and making a-lot of noises early morning. In addition to this she had her kid with her running around and shouting. not very professional.

I like that the style was funky and untraditional

The breakfast was lacking options and expensive, room was tight and overall stay really overpriced and expensive for a 3 star hotel at 650$ for 4 nights

it was our second stay at the Moxy and everything was great. We like the comfy beds, the room interior design and the reception/food area. The cool Halloween decoration added a special note
