About this house rental
Clean, Two bedroom, one bathroom, with laundry room, grill, picnic table, fire pit and porch swing rustic cottage (around 1100 sq ft) in the country on a farm setting across the road from Weiss Lake. This cozy cottage is about three miles from Yellow Creek Falls and 12 minutes from the town of Centre, Alabama. Little River National Park is about a ten min drive also. Some guests enjoy fishing off the bank across the road. Home has a full kitchen, bar, and dining area. The main bedroom now has a king size bed and the smaller bedroom has a twin bed with a pullout trundle bed to allow for another twin size or make it into a king sized bed. There’s also a cot that is suitable for children or smaller adults. Furthermore, there’s a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and washer/dryer. There is wifi/smart tv and limited local tv channels but there is a DVD player and a few family friendly movies and games that are there for our guests to relax and enjoy. WiFi is now available! We have a table outside next to a water hose for cleaning your fish and plenty of easy parking for your vehicle, camper, or boat. It is not wheelchair accessible. A picnic table has been added. A small dog may be permitted with prior email approval and a fee. We also have an extra pasture if you need to rest your horses. Up to 8 guests total. More guests may be allowed with prior email approval. Absolutely NO smoking inside the house. There is a covered porch and plenty of outdoor space to smoke which is greatly appreciated.

We had to make a quick trip for a funeral so I booked last minute. The property was absolutely perfect! So peaceful and quiet. The bed was so comfortable and we had plenty of room and a fabulous kitchen.
