Remote and tidy location off the beaten tracks.

We were almost alone in the whole building, only two chateau tour guides were also present. The location was quite a bit off the beaten tracks. Our host was really nice. The breakfast was great but just enough to be happy. This former family home has been rebuild as an B&B house with a few rooms and a shared lounge, big dinner/breakfast room and terrace.

We were quite lost in the area for finding some food. We arrived late due to traffic conditions in Paris and had trouble reaching out to our host, but it all worked out well in the end.

Great place for a stop over

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Check-in was smooth and the house was great. Kitchen fully equipped as well as the house. Toys for small kids, huge garden, spacious rooms.

The location is in a very quiet rural location. We had a friendly welcome and helpful information in English. The room was a large size with a Jack and Jill sink and good shower. Good breakfast.

Idyllic place for a stay in the Loire Valley.

In lodging, rare are the places where reality is better than the photos. This place is one of them. Yes, it is secluded in a small village, but it is only a 5' drive from the very famous and extrememly beautiful Chateau de Chaumont. The house, the bedrooms, the toilets, and especially the gardens from outside are impeccably clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is royal, not only the food, but also the setting and the utensils. If you're lucky, you cna have breakfast outside in the beautiful garden. Cherry on the cake, the hosts are very welcoming, accomodating, and highly responsive. It felt like home. we highly recommend this place if you have a car/own transport. Final tip: do visit Chateau de Chaumont, its beautiful gardens, majestic cedar trees, and esthetic view over the Loire river.

we were there alone so the whole huge house was ours (there are 4 family suites there) the suite was very nice, clean and comfortable. very nice decoration the host was very nice and provide a very good breakfast (including hand made jams)

A very nice stopover.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. We were staying in the double room with toilet (eve) and it was just perfect. The breakfast was also delicious. So we were very happy. Also the owner was very helpful. She made sure we had a reservation for a restaurant nearby.

The location, the friendliness of the host and the size of the rooms. Breakfast was very nice. Access to the large garden, nice outside terrace and the kitchen were very nice particularly as we were travelling with children.

Idéal comme étape ou endroit de vacances.

Nous n'avons pas hésité à nous éloigner de quelques kilomètres de l'autoroute pour trouver un lieu où nous reposer et nous ne le regrettons absolument pas. L'endroit est très bien situé, bénéficie d'une vue dégagée très large sur les environs. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit mais la maison qui peut accueillir plusieurs couples ou familles pourrait très bien servir de camp de base pour découvrir la région et ses beautés. Malgré une heure d'arrivée retardée à plusieurs reprises en fonction de la circulation, notre hôte nous a aimablement attendus pour nous accueillir de façon très aimable malgré l'heure tardive ( 22:30 heures ). Le matin, cette même dame nous a préparé un excellent petit-déjeuner sucré à l'heure convenue et a partagé un moment d'échange avec nous.

La présence de matériaux divers dans une partie arrière du jardin pourrait choquer l'une ou l'autre personne.

Da simpatia, dos conselhos, da disponibilidade e apoio na reserva de restaurantes, do cuidado em disponibilizar senhas para descontos nos monumentos a visitar... Ficamos vários dias, e o pequeno almoço (estilo francês) foi sempre esmerado, com um apontamento diferente em cada dia. A localização é central para quem pretenda visitar os principais castelos do Loire.

Visite jardin de Chaumont sur Loire.

Tout a vrai dire !! Angelique nous a tres bien accueilli, d'une grande gentillesse ,la chambre tres spacieuse et tres propre ...le tout a proximité du château de Chaumont sur Loire .Les petits déjeuner étaient excellents avec le fromage blanc agrémenté de fruits frais ! Un bon jus d'orange et des confitures faites par Angélique .Merci pour son accueil !

L'excellent accueil de l'hôte, la propreté et l'aménagement de la chambre. Et le calme très appréciable Très belle cuisine à disposition. Petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux servi par l'hôte et sur l'agréable terrasse car il faisait très beau. De plus la maison dans laquelle se situe les chambres est indépendante de la maison de l'hôte. Très bon rapport qualite/prix. Nous recommandons cette chambre d'hôte et nous y reviendrons car c'était trop court !
