A dream stay in an Italian paradise!

I recently had the immense pleasure of staying at this stunning villa, and I can confidently say it was one of the highlights of my trip to Italy! Every part of the property was simply beautiful. Each room was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, with gorgeous touches that made it feel both luxurious and inviting. No matter where you were—whether in the rooms or anywhere on the grounds—the views were absolutely breathtaking, offering a feast of rolling hills, sparkling sea, and charming Italian villages. The swimming pool was the perfect place to cool down and relax, surrounded by lush gardens and those same spectacular vistas. One of my absolute favorite moments was soaking in the hot tub on the patio of the tower room—watching the sun set over the hills was truly unforgettable! A huge part of what made this stay so special was Pietro, the wonderful host. He could not have been more helpful, arranging transport, providing interactive maps, and sharing fantastic local recommendations. The fresh bakery breakfast each morning was such a lovely touch and started each day off perfectly. The local restaurants were exceptional, serving delicious Italian cuisine, and the area itself offered fantastic hiking options. Transport was plentiful and made it easy to visit iconic spots like Portofino and the Cinque Terre. I can’t recommend this villa enough—it was the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Italian charm. I’m already dreaming of my next visit!

The only thing to be aware of is that there are quite a lot of steps leading up to the property. It was fine for us, but if you’re not as sure-footed, it might be wise to consider having a car for easier access.

Pietro was the perfect host. He collected us from the station, gave us great recommendations and booked restaurants for us. Amazing views, big comfortable room, lovely surroundings and garden areas. Loads of space and amazing views from your own terrace and the pool.

A dream!

Our stay was absolutely incredible. The view from our room was spectacular, felt like in a fairytale. The property was very peaceful and the owner was really kind, gave us recommendations on what to do and best restaurants in town and also picked us up and dropped us at the train station. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Italian escape.

A beautiful building, carefully and tastefully made into holiday accommodation. Location is fabulous, the room we stayed in was absolutely stunning. The outdoor areas are perfectly arranged so you can relax and dine in privacy. Everything was immaculately clean, all needs were provided for. Views were stunning and Pietro and family were perfect hosts, made fabulous recommendations for local food and places to go and were available for advice if needed.

This is truly one of the best places I’ve stayed. It’s clean, has everything you need, and Pietro is a very caring host who takes great care of both the place and his guests. The property features a panoramic swimming pool and a jacuzzi – a perfect spot for relaxation.

A lovely property with a great pool in the heart of the riviera.

Pietro is a great host, very knowledgeable about the area and able to recommend loads to do, and signpost (and secure tables at) great restaurants.

The property is a good 20 minute walk from town, and the steps are not for the faint hearted.

Perfect

We had a wonderful three-day stay in a well-equipped family room with a very pretty garden. It’s a short walk to town, but Pietro kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. He’s incredibly generous with his time and provides great recommendations on what to visit and where to eat. A breakfast box with croissants and focaccia is provided for each room and coffee is freely available. The pool area is also lovely. We had a truly wonderful stay.

When you leave, the next place you stay won’t be as nice. I wish we had stayed longer!

A glamorous retreat with the charm of a B&B

Looking around, it was clear that every tiny decision was made with the guest in mind. They chose the nicer shampoo, they made sure there was a coffee maker in every room but also a full service cappuccino machine. The pastries were very nice. The grounds had little nooks with seating to give each guest privacy while also providing gorgeous views to each. The rooms were absolutely stunning. This is very clearly a labor of love.

A hidden gem in Liguria

This hotel is a hidden gem in a great area. It looks exactly like in the pictures and Pietro and his dad were very kind giving us local recommendations. A great surprise for us the town, Sestri Levanti, 5 minutes by car, where you may find beaches, local restaurants and little shops. Totally recommend!

Absolutely stunning retreat in a beautiful part of Italy 🇮🇹

Stunning building and surroundings. Peaceful and so relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful rooms, full of character and extremely clean and everything you could ever wish for. So much thought and attention to detail. The kitchen area with the coffee machine and fully stocked fridge in the rooms and snacks galore to purchase was an excellent touch. The pool and loungers were like being in an exclusive retreat spa weekend .. highly recommend. The host was available for restaurant recommendation, reservations and anythg you need without being intrusive. The breakfast croissants and focaccia was such a treat every morning. Thank you so much .. fully relaxed family !

Perfection - book now!

This hotel / airbnb was exceptional. It takes your breath away. The host went above and beyond to look after us - picking us up at train station and giving us lifts into town and on way home. The area is perfection, and the communal areas, including the kitchen were brilliant. I cannot recommend this place enough. It exceeded all our expectations and was the perfect get away for our 1 year anniversary treat! It is about 20/25 mins walk to town, and there are a fair few stairs - so maybe not ideal for older couples, but the host is very very generous with giving you lifts and the view is worth it! It was the highlights of our 8 day trip in Italy.

Exceptional

The Views from the beautiful building and stunning gardens. It was nice having just a few neighbours - nice and peaceful, but a few people to see around. The pool and tub fab Breakfast gift also fab We came during bad weather sadly, and Pietro was so caring, making sure we had everything we needed all the time. We also really loved his dad, who seemed to genuinely love to help. Great already and I'm sure will keep getting even better.

Great location and beautiful property!!

This is nothing to the owner or the property in itself but we travelled in the best of summer and had to keep the windows open to sleep- it was rather loud between the train and barking dogs

Perfect location between Cinque Terre and Portofino

We (family with a 2 year old child) spent three nights in the uppermost room of the tower. This is the perfect place between Cinque Terre and Portofino. Pietro is a very kind and helpful host, communication and service were excellent and extraordinary. He takes really good care of his guests and has great recommendations for activities and restaurants etc. The entire location with house, tower and garden is just amazing. The pictures speak for themselves. The room is spacious, in great shape, clean and tastefully furnished. The private terrace with jacuzzi is perfect to relax after a long day. Breakfast is provided every morning, which is very tasty. The pool area and garden are beautiful with lots of space to relax, read or enjoy a drink. Also, Sestri Levante itself is a nice little town with good restaurants to base your trip off of and has also stand-alone attractiveness for a stay if you don't want to travel much. All around Torre Scribanti is one of the best and certainly the most special place we stayed at in our many visits to Italy.

Obviously, being a tower, you'll have to climb a number of steps to the upper room. This was no problem for us at all, but may have to be considered depending on your general mobility.

The host has a great taste in lifestyle. This old building is already full of a beautiful atmosphere, and the decorations in the rooms are also very elegant. There are many trees around and the environment is clean. The swimming pool is also very clean, and the sauna is touch our heart. This is a better place than expected.

A dream getaway with stunning views.

Pietro and the team are extraordinarily welcoming and accommodating with local tips and recommendations. The room was simply fabulous, so we barely wanted to leave to explore! AMAZING view of the sea and surroundings. The hottub in April was a real highlight for late afternoon relaxing after a day out in Genoa. The breakfast box was scrummy, the minibar well stocked with some great wines and soft drinks. We loved it.

No fresh milk available and the road leading up to the tower didn't inspire confidence.

New experience

The stay in La Torre was exceptionally amazing. we had new experience where we stayed in non-traditional property that’s a renewed castle. The owner showed high hospitality with us. You will have a beautiful view if you choose to stay at the top floor where we stayed. Decoration is nice and aligned with the place that’s historical. Highly recommend it.

Historic building in beautiful grounds with swimming pool and great views. The owner and staff were very kind and helpful with both advice and practical assistance during our visit. For example driving us to the train station. Sestri Levante is also a great little seaside town with lots of good restaurants, good hikes and opportunities to visit Cinque Terre, Porto Fino and Genoa.

La Torre is on the outskirts of the town with a steep drive so it was necessary to have a car in order to travel back and forth to town. That said Pietro the owner did offer to run us into town if needed.
