The host was very responsive and accommodating throughout the process of the rental. The amenities were great. The rental property itself was very nice and clean, warm and welcoming, and the location was perfect.

My family and I had a great experience and the host was reachable and kind. Check in and out was easy and the staff was nice. We loved the hot tubs and pools! The heated pool in January was the best! Easy walk to the beach. Really a great stay and would stay here again!

The place was 5 ⭐️ on cleanliness. It was in a good location and the ocean view was great. I will make it clear that this is not an oceanfront room. A friend of mine in realty down there told us to list a property as oceanfront, there can be no buildings or anything in front of the property, that it is the room and then the ocean directly in front. This room is ocean view though it was listed as oceanfront on the VRBO site. The parking garage is definitely an older one. Thankfully we brought our Cherokee this year instead of our Silverado. There’s just not enough space for larger vehicles to park beside one another and open your doors without squishing. Parking garages are tight anyway but the one at Dunes is a little better in that regards.
I realize I’m spoiled as we have stayed with Dunes Village Resort for rmany years , but it was disappointing that we were told at checkin (4 o’clock) that we’d have to wait. We always get there early and we let them know so they could be having our room ready. Apparently this isn’t the case. At dunes every time we’ve gotten there, which is usually around noon, they always have us in our room in less than an hour, and most of the time our room is already ready. I understand the check in process, but we have never had a place refuse to let us in at checkin time, 4. For that reason, we will never go back to Grandes Resort on 77th.
It wasn’t a bad week though.
