The Chantilly gîte (approx. 1870) is ideally situated in a small, very quiet village in the Centre Val de Loire region, in the heart of the magnificent Orléans forest, 120 km south of Paris and 55 km from Orléans. A dozen châteaux surround it. Those of Sully / Loire and Gien are the nearest. If you're a nature-lover, you can explore the canals, the banks of the Loire or the heart of the forest by bike or on foot. There are several museums nearby, including the Loire Navy Museum, the Resistance Museum, the Girodet Museum and the Hunting Museum. Montargis, with its waterfront streets, is nicknamed Little Venice, while Briare, with its Eiffel canal bridge, is a work of art not to be missed. The small, very typical town of Lorris, 3 km away, has all the shops you need. A supermarket is 3 km away and is open every day.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, Senseo coffee machine, kettle, two gas hobs and two electric hobs. A large fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
Living room: SFR TV lounge. With several foreign channels CNN for example, you can put your account Netflix or Prime Video. A hi-fi system is available.
The dining room is equipped for 6 people.
The Nucérienne bedroom has a double bed and a cot. The Gâtinaise room has a double bed. The Poterie bedroom has two double beds. On the mezzanine floor, there is another sleeping area with a small single bed.
