Velum is a cozy home away from home in Jeju. Clean? Definitely

We had originally booked an ocean terrace room and upon arrival was given a room on the third floor. We were travelling with a baby and an elderly on wheelchair so the three storey climb was absolutely not possible (for the elderly). Went back to lobby to request for a change of room to ground floor unit, was told its fully booked for the night and can only change our room the following day. Argued with the receptionist for a full ten minutes on where is he expecting my grandma to sleep for the first night then? Eventually he offered us another unit at another block (this block seems to be the only block in the compound with a lift). The component is huge so you will need to drive to get to the lobby/breakfast every time. Apart from the issue with the room, everything else was ok.

We loved this place! The space and the layout are just lovely. The kitchen and balcony are amazing and we wished we stayed longer. Miss this place!!

Velum Resort, Jeju – Honest Review Velum Resort is located in the southern part of Jeju Island, on the opposite side from Jeju City in the north. It is about a 1-hour drive from Jeju International Airport. The location is quite far from most major tourist attractions, except for nearby golf areas, so having a car is essential. The resort consists of chalet-style units built on a hill. Guests need to climb stairs to reach the units, and there is no lift, which can be inconvenient if you have heavy luggage, elderly travellers, or mobility issues. Upon check-in, the resort requires a credit card deposit. An open deposit is held, and any damages will be charged to this deposit. The unit itself is very nice. It is a two-storey chalet with two bedrooms, suitable for families or groups. The beds are comfortable, and the unit feels spacious and pleasant. There is a kitchen for cooking and a washing machine, but no dryer, which may be inconvenient in winter or during rainy days.
