Beautiful and very comfortable apartment.

The location. The quirky decor. The bath! The large comfortable bed. The kitchen and big fridge and freezer. The ice bucket in the bedroom.

The crockery in the kitchen is somewhat lacking in comparison to everything else in the apartment. The bedroom could do with bedside lamps as the overhead wall lights are rather harsh.

Great place to visit Berwick and surrounds. Not for the unfit or disabled.

Very well equipped, with excellent furniture and decor. Central position good for pubs, restaurants etc. Great shower.

Parking is a problem as is finding the place in the first instance. Up a flight of winding stairs with bedroom up a further flight.

A luxury get away in Berwick

It’s in a great central location. The apartment is luxurious & finished to a high spec with all the decor and furnishings, with quite a masculine quirky style. It has a large comfy bed, a lovely free standing bath in the bedroom and a large walk in shower. We didn’t use them but it also has a washing machine & tumble drier which are great for longer trips. We were given a good supply of tea bags & milk. The apartment is spotlessly clean. We didn’t cook but there seemed to be sufficient utensils if we’d done so. It’s in a great location to explore the local coastline. A good range of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops within easy walking distance.

Communication before & after our stay was practically non existent. The parking system is confusing if you don’t know the area. A map of car parks would have been more meaningful. I’d sent a query re parking but received no response. The flat is upstairs and you can’t park outside to offload luggage so not ideal if you have mobility issues.

A Wonderful, Central Apartment!

This apartment is beautifully appointed and does not disappoint. The property layout, furnishings and needs of visitors have been very well thought out. Location is excellent (central). Parking can be a little tricky to start with when you arrive but once you get the hang of it, accounting for it being in the town centre it's honestly really straight forward. We stayed three nights, eating out every night (Atelier, MAVI (Turkish) & Amran's (Indian)) - all were excellent. An extra thanks to Tracy & Holly for their help.

Loved berwick the history and area. Apartment one of the best ever

Wonderfull apartment very comfy massive bed whole place furnished really great. Rooms very large and decorated really well some lovely touches with pictures and statutes. Right in centre of town oppisite the old town hall, close to cafes pubs plenty of places to eat. Walk round the town plenty shops. Lots of history walk round the old city walls lovely views.

Stunning!

The apartment is stunning - very spacious, spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly need, and the decor and fixtures and fittings are beautiful. Location is perfect in the town centre and the parking permits are an added bonus. Communication with the host was excellent with really prompt responses, clear instructions etc.

House was tastefully styled and decorated with an amazing array of quirky objects. Very central location to all amenities. Bed was excellent and comfortable . Very clean and towels and linen of excellent quality. Easy access to find and very good communication from Housekeeper Tracy .parking permit given and explained only area B for residents use.

Town is extremely busy and parking was an issue it took us about 10 minutes to actually find the correct area . You just need to ask the local people . No reflection on owners of apartment though . Crockery could do with update. To me it doesn't match the quirkiness or quality of interior design but that is personal

Fabulous find in Berwick

Central location close to the riverside walks, beach, shops and restaurants. The apartment is very individually styled which makes it different to the mass market. It's a lovely big apartment over 2 floors, making it feel like you're staying in a much bigger place.

Other reviews mentioned that they had received a hamper....we received 1 pint of skimmed milk which had a sell by date of the day before we left... Not what you would expect for £160 per night 😐.

Immaculate apartment but very confusing parking arrangments

Very clean, could not fault it. Great location. Had every convenience barring a dishwasher.

After a six hour drive and then trying to work out whether or not we would get a parking ticket, being able to make a cup of tea would have been nice, we had to go out and buy essentials like milk and a kitchen roll etc Car parking was a complete mystery at first until we found a list of places in the apartment where we could park I would suggest that the owners send out parking information prior to any arrivals including a map showing where and when parking is available.

This apartment is perfect..

This apartment is the most beautifully presented place we have ever stayed at. There is so much attention to detail. The place has personality and beautiful artwork. Berwick-upon-Tweed was also a wonderful holiday destination.There is an excellent guided tour from the Tourist Information office every day at 11 a.m. The apartment location in the centre of town was also perfect.

Weekday break

Beautiful interior- perfectly done the bed was super comfie- we slept well on it.

Kitchen drainer dirty- stains on walls and scuffs- dining table had hairs on it- no hand towels in down stairs loo. The iron and ironing board need replaced. We didn't receive the well rated welcome pack- I enquired and came back to a bottle of procesco- peanuts n crisps from ALDI! Lying beside the front door. Poor show and definitely not worth the £20 that's now going to be charged. The parking is a nightmare- only allowed an hour here- 3 hours there- constantly moving our vehicle to avoid a fine- couldn't relax because of this. Check in is also extremely late and the town is busy another headache to find a parking space. Not the best views from the apartment- several boarded up shops- very noisy at night with traffic. The TV doesn't get a good reception- very scrambled- gave up with the lack of viewing channels. There is a small courtyard- extremely dirty- no table & chairs (main residents are pigeons so you wouldn't want to sit outside anyway) not a nice view from the kitchen window puts you off cooking and preparing food. The bath is abit dangerous- very slippy- the plug is in the middle and if your not careful can be VERY uncomfortable if you slide onto it.
