We were looking for a hotel in Castelnaudary while cycling along the Canal du Midi. This Ibis Styles is comfortable, nicely decorated (specially if you are a Rugby fan!), and the rooms are cosy. The breakfast offers a good variety, and the restaurant is a great option for tapas-style dining at reasonable prices. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the hotel, especially for a chain traditionally considered budget-friendly. A big plus: it offers a bike parking.
The only downside was that the jacuzzi wasn’t operational, even though the website states it opens in April. We would have loved to relax there after our ride!

No where comfortable to sit in the room - one wooden garden bench (decorative effect?) with no cushions and a utility chair at desk. Guinness not cold enough!
