Excellent small cottage for people who want a nice and quiet place to stay

Excellent small cottage for people who want a nice and quiet place to stay in between exploring the countryside. A bit old but all facilities are available and the hosts are super friendly. Durbuy is nearby but we recommend La Roche en Ardenne, which is nearby as well. Far less busy and equally nice.

All we neederd and more

The communication with the host and the check-in procedure was flawless. We appreciated the outdoor parking space outside the property, and it is set in a quiet street in a beautiful area. The accomodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay. However, we felt that with just a little bit of attention, you could take this holiday home from "good" to "perfect". The property has good bones and a practical layout, but lacks some attention to detail: there are some very clumsily installed waterpipes and skirting boards, and the paintwork could do with an update. The exterior needs an upgrade as well, the little garden shed and the back garden look neglected. It wouldn't take that much to fix some details, give the property a nice coat of fresh paint, install some comfortable outside seating (both front and back) and you have the perfect little getaway haven in the Ardennes.

Little gem of a place

Lovely quiet accommodation for a mum and son combo. Lovely furnishings and all kitchen and bathroom. amenities available and in great condition. We stayed here for the Grand Prix and although we had a bit of a drive it was perfect for us. Close by villages have all you need to stock up.

Great location! Nice kitchen, everything was available, there was coffee, etc! loved it! The master bedroom was amazing, the bed is very big and nice! loved Netflix and everything! the house was pretty clean when we arrived. There was a manual for everything and there were even suggestions for activities nearby! very happy!

The house smelled a little weird but after a few minutes, we got used to it so that's not so bad. The bathroom was not so nice and the little room behind it gave us really creepy vibes. Also, the garden is not very pretty but that's not why we booked the house so this was not a problem for us.

Logement très mal isolé Le poêle à granulés s'est éteint, impossible de le remettre en marche et pas de consignes sur la vidéo, de même pour la climatisation Animaux acceptés mais à raison de 10 euros par jour !! Abusif !!

De ligging t.o.v. de omliggende steden De verwarming/ koeling was prima in orde via mooie kachel en airco Grote nadruk werd gelegd op de elektronica en het tegengaan van inbrekers. Twee grote TV’s is wel wat overdreven.

Het was oorspronkelijk een derderangs huisje wat opgeknapt is door een klusser/ eigenaar die de zaken Niet netjes afwerkt en geen oog heeft voor details. Het bed in de grote slaapkamer is ongemakkelijk geplaatst, zodat het instappen van één kant heel lastig is.

Perfecte omgeving en accomodatie om te werken of te genieten van de natuur

Mooi verblijf, van alle gemakken voorzien. Erg vriendelijke host, heel erg bereid om te helpen! Als je van een rustig omgeving houdt met natuur, dan is dit zeker een aanrader!

Omdat het een afgelegen locatie is, zijn er geen ubers, bussen, of iets dergelijks beschikbaar. Taxi's zijn er wel, maar die zijn erg duur. Zorg dus dat je eventueel zelf fietsen meeneemt, als je er opuit wilt zonder auto.
