Great location and just a lovely flat.
Couldn’t figure out how to use the towel warmer and more than one bath towel would have been nice.

The property was fabulous and communication from Emma was 💯 %.
Didn’t want to leave it was just perfect.
Visited with my 85 year old mum , it was a trip down memory lane for her , she spent her holidays in Helensburgh as a child , she absolutely loved the flat over homely and cosy 🙂
Nothing it was perfect

Clean and a nice place to call “home” whilst traveling.
The twin bed I slept in was not very comfortable. The mattresses may be on the older side.
8.0 / 10.0
The location was excellent - within easy walking distance of the centre
Beautifully decorated, bright, comfortable apartment which was tremendously well equipped and absolutely immaculately clean
The ‘double’ bed is actually quite small -
It is not 4ft 6” !!
It is important to know if there are four people sharing the two bedrooms - there is space for a 5ft bed however - two single beds in the second bedroom
The bathroom is beautiful but tricky enough to use the shower - need to be agile !!

Central location
Roll top bath with shower over and curtains covering controls

Lovely home, lovely gas fire when needed, close to town, lots of light from windows.
Minor things.
Double bed is quite cosy. Would be nice to have blind open in bathroom but overlooks street so maybe some window cover at the bottom would be nice.

Location and facilities excellent. Roomy and comfortable. Spotlessly clean and good communication with hosts.
A small walk takes you to the centre and well stocked local convenience stores are even nearer. Two minutes walk to the riverside.
Parking is easy and overall it is very quiet and good local restaurants are less than a ten minute stroll.
Television is far too small for comfortable viewing. Some would likely prefer a walk in shower rather than over bath, which is a quite high step.
This is our second visit and these observations, may seem minor, but to some may be important.

Emma's apartment is on the first floor of a detached, small, solid stone house. When you enter you feel very comfortable from the first moment. Everything is stylishly furnished with great attention to detail. The oak floor, the stuccoed ceiling, the chandeliers, the small benches in the windows. The many pictures and the old pieces of furniture convey a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen offers everything you need. It has a washing machine with integrated tumble dryer. The bathroom is spacious and just as stylishly furnished. The two bedrooms are also furnished in the same style with long decorative curtains. An ideal place to discover Scotland.
There was a gas fireplace. But we couldn‘t make it work although we have read the instructions carefully.

Such a well thought through, clean and well presented apartment.
The owners had clearly spent time thinking about what would make the stay comfortable and enjoyable for anyone staying.
The little touches like a welcome pack and ample cleaning stuff were gladly received.
Absolutely loved the bath!!
For 2 large adults we found the double bed a little small. But that probably wouldn't be an issue for most couples.

Light-filled, comfortable and a great location. Beautifully furnished with freshly upgraded kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Everything suited us perfectly.

Having a "home away from home". It's a very well equipped apartment, with well thought of details. Nice mixture of classic and contemporary decoration (nothing wrong with some IKEA!) and fine art. Stores & restaurants in the neighbourhood. Easy starting point for trips around, The Hill House by Charles Rennie Macintosh is close - and certainly worth a visit.
The double bed is very good, but if you both are tall/big it might be a challenge. There is another bedroom with two single beds, so traveling as a couple will never be a problem. Parking is on the (quiet) street which can be crowded.

Often struggled to find an on street parking space in same street.

Slight frustration not to be able to watch terrestrial TV and the shower curtains were a pain but I'm being very picky!

The ambiance. The area it was central to where we wanted to be. It was comfortable and clean. Loved the heated bathroom floor!
There wasn't anything we disliked.
It was short of a measuring jug, kitchen weigh scales, sieve and a fish slice.
9.0 / 10.0
Very nice touch with the welcome basket and a handwritten card
The kitchen was full of new equipment and really clean
The front door to the property was hard to close
Windows were rattly in the wind letting cold and noise from the street in.

Loved the location, as the apartment is only a short walk from the central square in Helensburgh. The accommodation is very well furnished with comfortable beds and enough seating for everyone to be comfortable. Bathroom was very luxurious.
Lots of lovely thoughtful extras that were thoroughly enjoyed.
Nothing to dislike but the tv was quite difficult to watch as it is very small and the connection wasn't great BUT it wouldn't stop us booking again.

We were delighted as soon as we opened the door and the welcome pack of local goodies was the icing on the cake. This place was such a find, a real home from home with an eclectic decor, interesting and quirky objects and bags of luxurious comfort. We could have happily stayed in the apartment but were tempted away by the fabulous Hill House - a design and architecture delight - a wander around the local market and craft shops, a trip to Glasgow (very easily doable with trains running until past midnight) and walks around lochs and parks. We visited Loch Lomond (about 20 mins by car) and Loch Katrine (about 50 mins) where we also took a trip on a boat. Chilly in November but very worthwhile!

This warm welcoming property really was a home from home. Presented to a high standard with a lovely little basket of treats on arrival. Lovely and spacious. Really good location with plenty of shops/restaurants & takeaways within walking distance. Our first trip to Helensburgh but we will most definitely be back as we didn’t want to leave.
Really could not fault anything but if we had to be fussy with 4 ladies getting ready for a wedding we were just missing a full length mirror and the tv was a little small but these are only personal preferences and we honestly couldn’t fault a thing
