The place provided an excellent base from which to explore the area.

Location was lovely and it was so quiet although there were several other properties. The arrangement still gave me privacy. Interesting buildings well converted.

In some self catering places where I have stayed, the kitchen may have a few things like tea and coffee, salt and pepper.

Most enjoyable stay in lovely surroundings, pity we had to wait till 5 pm but very clean

A bigger tv! And a couple of outdoor chairs would be nice Certainly a superb location. For everything . People in shops, towns all friendly and all;rughbours fruendly too

Excellent for short stays

Cosy, clean and comfortable.

No shower. There was a hose attached to the tap but no shower curtain and a carpeted bathroom floor makes it not easy to use. Fridge is small too given that place is not close to supermarkets. It's fine for a weekend stay but longer would be difficult.

The quiet location and the homely feel of the cottage.

Would have been nice to have an electric shower, the attachment on the taps was a bit too short.

Clean, comfortable, peaceful, but basic.

Really handy location for nearby places like Bamburgh, Alnwick, Rothbury, kielder etc. Very peaceful, slept like a log!

No WiFi, no built in shower (just one of those tap hose thingies), hot water could run out easily between three adults. Facilities are fine, functional, but quite dated. Kettle is a drippy hazard, that needs replacing.

Has great potential but needs modernising

Spacious accommodation & good location for exploring Holy island, Bamburgh & Alnwick.

No shower, 1990s decor and Outside sitting area nonexistent.

Fabulous place in a great location

The complex was fabulous, beautiful setting and in a great location close to Wooler, the railway and Bamburgh.

We were upgraded to a slightly bigger property which was great, however it had people staying above us who were incredibly noisy and kept us up at night. Had we have had our original property this wouldn’t have happened.
