Foxglove Covet

The grounds and the property itself was lovely.

The option of a mattress overlay would be good even if I had to rent one as the mattress was uncomfortable. I used the spare duvets to provide more comfort. The property could do with an update re the bathroom. I did expect a better shower over the bath.

Great location for countryside and Scotland. Large rooms and plenty of storage space. Well equipped kitchen. Swimming pool and games room although we did not have time to use them. You can walk straight out back and into the countryside. Wooler is only a short drive away and a nice town.

Shower water pressure. Some curtains would not close properly (minor issue).

We had such a lovely stay and would happily come back! The accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and in a lovely peaceful setting. It was so quiet and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay, always friendly, welcoming and happy to help. The pool was also brilliant and a real highlight, especially for the kids. The only small suggestion we’d make is to consider adding a dishwasher and a few more pots, pans, plates and cutlery. There were only four of everything, so we found ourselves washing up after every meal, which isn’t ideal when you’re on holiday. It’s only a minor point though, and it certainly didn’t take away from what was an amazing stay. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We can’t wait to visit again! 😊

Needs a few more bits in the kitchen

Cosy, clean and comfortable.

No shower. There was a hose attached to the tap but no shower curtain and a carpeted bathroom floor makes it not easy to use. Fridge is small too given that place is not close to supermarkets. It's fine for a weekend stay but longer would be difficult.
