Not suitable for families with small kids

The location of the apartment is excellent if you need to be close to the railway station.

Definitely it is not suitable for families with a small kid. We asked for a cot, which was possible to ask for (and therefore we thought it was good for kids) and this request was never confirmed and the cot was not provided. Honestly, there was no room for it anyway. We chose this apartment because it had a separate bedroom because our kid goes to bed very early and he is light and noise sensitive. The ultra separate bedroom is outside of the apartment, you need to go upstairs under the sky and it is only a room.. Good for 18 years old, but not 8 months old. The apartment is equipped also for cooking but the stove does not light, you have to use it intuitively etc. But what really bothered us were the cockroaches, in the bed, on the table, on the kitchen counter.... Definitely something you want with a little kid. And be informed that the pictures of the apartment are also not accurate, I think it is a mix of all apartments. Ours was showing a washing machine in the kitchen (it wasn't there) and three big beds (only two were there).

Location is so convenient, near the bus and train stations. We walked to the beach for 20 minutes. Apartment was small but useful and comfortable, we had a terrace.

Room smelt moldy, kitchen surface was sticky. Room was ground floor with only window onto street with bus stop right in front, so didn't feel safe to open blinds with our stuff lying openly. Didn't have "free" parking, was just in an area with free street parking, but had to park 6min walk away in some side alley. Terrace was just a table on a communal terrace walking past 3 other rented rooms.

Great base to explore Malaga

Disappointing

Unfortunately, not much to say here. This was a disappointing stay. If it was strictly for an overnight, really only there to sleep, then the place would have been ok, but we were in the area for a few days. Yes, the flat was clean, the bed was alright, and the kitchen had the main amenities, so that's good. The bathroom, although small, appeared to have been recently updated, so that was fine. It is close to little grocery stores, and 5 mins from a decent shopping mall. Street parking nearby is free, if you can find a spot.

There was an unresolved misunderstanding regarding accessing the apartment itself. I received messages from the manager thru booking.com that there would be a code to access the building, then once inside, a lockbox from which I could get the key for the flat, or use a second code on a keypad to open the flat door. The keypad opened, but the key within did not open the door to the flat, and after multiple back-and-forths, I was told that no, there is only the keypad to enter the flat. This left me feeling confused, annoyed, and slightly unfomfortable, as without a key, anyone with the passcode could enter the room. Not happy with that at all. As well, as mentioned by other reviewers, the room is dark. The only source of natural light comes from a street-side window, in front of which is a bus stop, so that blind was never open :( Apart from the apparently recently re-done bathroom, the unit is old. There is much patchwork around, and even an open electrical connection in the kitchen area. Finally, the location, for us, was not well situated. Other than being a 5 minute walk to a shopping mall, it was 20 mins walk to the beach, and 25 mins to the lovely area of old Malaga.

We booked other room and we stayed in another room in different place. The owner was tragic. He believed that we are stupid, but unfortunately for him, we are not!!! Maybe he had over booking. In that case it's better to say the truth!!! Finally we had happy end. Booking.com return us part of our money! 10 points to booking.com, 1 point to the owner.

Location near the beach. Walking distance to bus station. Clean, comfortable accommodation. Washing machine available in communal area. Nice terrace to sit on. Great communication with owner. Easy to locate.

Didn't realise accommodation was up a spiral staircase. Only handwash available. No shampoo or shower gel.

Fantastic location. 7mins walk from the Maria Zambrano station and mall where there was a big Mercadona supermarket. Lidl and also less than 5nin walk. 30mim walk (a nice easy walk) to the centre, main shopping area, old town. Quiet and safe street too as I was a single female. Very clean and a lovely cleaning lady and the owner was amazing at WhatsApp communication 😁 Oh and a kettle, stove top, microwave, plates aircon and tvs

The only thing, was maybe if there was a blind on the door to the outside, so others walking by can't see into the kitchen/bedroom and bathroom. Also some body wash provided 😊

Communication with host was not great. Asked in advance to leave bags before arrival, they said yes, turned up and couldn't.

Place itself. Cozy, had all equipment, very comfortable bed. A bit small but cozy terrace.

Location was a bit far from center. ~25min of walk. Of course we took some busses, so that solved transportation. Although, the apartment is not to far from train and bus stations.
