Main Street shops & restaurants are a block over and are walking distance. Other notable excursions include The Breaks Interstate Park (The Grand Canyon of the South), The Sand Cave at Cumberland (with stunning vista view), the Virginia Creeper Trail, Barter Theatre (the State Theatre of Virginia), Bristol Raceway and Bristol Casino

Located in one of the oldest, largest and most recognized homes in the heart of downtown Wise (one block from Main Street) the popular Victorian Spa EnSuite offers a king size bed, in room microwave, refrigerator, Keurig, ceiling fan, tall windows, warm wood floors, remote control electric fireplace, mirrored antique vanity, chest of drawers, standing lamp, storage bench, transom window, flatscreen tv and lighted ceiling fan. The spacious ensuite bathroom has 2 closets, guest robes, Jacuzzi tub, Fiat steam shower & dual sink vanity

Nottingham Place is truly a HIDDEN GEM! We were so pleasantly surprised with how superb this property was! Soooo much better than any hotel we have ever stayed at, in around Wise, VA! These hosts have truly thought of every possible added touch to make your stay feel special! From the variety of tea and coffee in your room and in the upstairs lounge area that even has extra snacks and muffins, to the basket of potential medicines you may need while traveling. Our mini fridge was stocked with a We truly enjoyed being able to sit out on the beautiful front porch and enjoy the evening air while chatting with other guests! We had no issues the first night parking at the offsite location, as it was on our way just a block away from our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Wise! We truly hope more UVAWise parents will check this wonderful inn out! The history is truly amazing! Our suite was very spacious and although it was considered the Spa En-suite, we didn’t take advantage of it but highly recommend it! We can’t wait for another visit… we will definitely be staying again! Thank you!

My son and I stayed at Nottingham Place for the second year and it was wonderful. We plan staying an extra day next year.
