About this house rental
It is a beautiful renovated country house opening onto a garden of more than 2000 m². Nestled in a cul-de-sac, quiet and as close as possible to the path in the middle of the pines which will take you to the beach (access on foot). Fully fenced land and south-facing terrace. You can even enjoy a brazier to warm up the evenings a little cool...
The 100 m2 single-storey house has 3 bedrooms each with a queen size double bed (160 cm * 200 cm). A sofa bed (and travel cot, high chair and booster seat) are also available. Linen is NOT provided (sheet rental at an additional cost).
The land is large enough to park and you will have an independent arrival with a key box whose code will be given to you before your arrival. Be careful, however, that the street is not wide and access is difficult for extended vehicles or with trailers (access possible for Master type trucks for example).
In Barbâtre, there is a large supermarket, small shops and restaurants accessible in a few minutes before discovering Noirmoutier and its salt marshes, Océanile the swimming pool with its stunning slides, France Miniature or the butterfly greenhouse... Not to mention the mythical Passage du Gois, at low tide of course!

A lovely property, very well equipped in a superb location.. Comfortable bed & furnishings, very nice kitchen, huge natural garden in a quiet residential area. 400 mitre walk through the pine woods to a splendid safe beach used by few people......and dog friendly. The sea was warm.
Noirmoutier is an unspoilt lovely island, good for cycling. Barbatre has everything you need & is 15 minute walk away.
We didn't meet our host but she was very helpful on the telephone when we had a query.
The sheets were disposable ones....which is often the case now in France & OK for a couple of nights but we brought our own.
Also, it would have been nice to have an information sheet saying how the TV worked & a list off useful places...doctors, pharmacy, vet & rubbish collection day. etc. Otherwise we can't fault our stay.
