Pleasant

The house was located in beautiful area near to Chamonix and Saint Gervais. It was very clean, rooms and toilett were comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The place is very close (5 min walking distance) to Intermarche were we could do a grocery shopping.

Despite information about wi-fi on the website, it did not work. When we flagged this to the host, we received an information that it would be fixed next day (actually after our check-out). Also communication with the host was very difficult.

Very bad!!

The presentation of the property on Booking has nothing to do with reality! The house is located in an industrial area 50 meters from the main road and noises could be heard in the morning of the timber factory next door. Humidity in the ceiling, very cold in the house, rude owners, you don't have access to heat because it is controlled by the owners.The owners' house is 10 meters away, inside there is no door between the bedroom and the kitchen and the kitchen is not well equipped and some of the cutlery is old and used. The rules of the house are very strict like a prison, you are constantly controlled by the surveillance camera and you have no privacy.The attitude of the owners is rude and even aggressive, and this location has nothing to do with the tourism and rest that a person is looking for on vacation.The price is very high, the internet almost non-existent, noise in the morning and very cold between the stone walls.On departure the owner checked every drawer, windows, kitchen utensils and even in the toilet making you feel stupid as if you were a thief. Although you pay for all the facilities, you are obliged to take your own garbage one km away from the accommodation, to remove your bedding from the bed and take them to the bathroom, you are not allowed to take off your shoes in the house .and you have to go inside with bare feet. They refused the check-in an hour earlier saying that we can stay outside until 17:00, although we tried to cancel the reservation, they refused accusing Booking.and if we destroy something we have to pay 200 euros. They certainly do not have the necessary functional approvals and most of the positive reviews are fake and unrelated to reality and the lady's answers lack common sense.I do not recommend!!

Make sure you read the long list of House rules before you book

- The garden. - well equipped place-2 types of coffee machines, oven, washing machine - a clean place - free parking

- - the long list of House rules (e.g. make sure you remove all the bed linen before check-out and leave it on the washing machine?!; 15 euro per day for air-con...) -The place is situated in a separate building in the backyard of the owners. You can use a sort of a curtain to have some privacy if you choose to use the table on the patio in front of the guest cottage. Have this in mind if you are looking for some privacy since the owner came at least 3 times in the afternoon we staid. - If you are a larger group (we were 4) the living room can get quite crowded and the bedroom is separated only via a curtain. - we got chased down by the owner when were were leaving not to say goodbye, but because we have forgotten to take out our trash. So he said sth in French and handed us a black bag through the car window. A bit too much given that the nearest public trash is more than 800m away. (also bear this in mind if you come by public transport that you need to carry around your trash when you leave)

Has potential for improvement

Nice little house with view on a Tyre center and the Mont Blanc. Quality kitchen equipment but it would have been good if we would have had a few instruction sheets or the manuals. Garden is separated from street with a fence and is shared with host's kids. Free parking close to the street.

One window could be closed but not locked, hosts knew but didn't inform us. Internet barely working in the morning and not at all after that. Many odd rules like: no shoes inside(on a cold stone floor), keep your ski boots in an outside container where it is freezing.... Two towels for 2 persons is not a lot for a week. Hosts didn't react nice when we complained.

Proximité des grands sites de haute Savoie. Emplacement calme. Maisonnette très propre. Très grande cour extérieure.

Très bon week-end, adresse à retenir 🏔️

L’emplacement, le paysage, et la tranquillité sont un vrai plus pour la petite maison. Aucune nuisance ni des propriétaires ou de la route proche. Finition nouvelle et déco non surchargé rendent l’intérieur agréable. L’Intermarché tout proche facilite les apéros de dernière minute sur la terrasse ombragée en fin de journée.

Tout était parfait, peut être qu’avec ce week-end exceptionnellement caniculaire de fin juillet, il aurait été souhaitable d’avoir le parasol pour le petit dejeuner et la clim inclus dans le prix de la nuitée ☀️⛱️
