Lighthouse Cove' is a cute and cozy three-bedroom, two-bath home located on the canal. Bring your boat and enjoy a relaxing family getaway at Holden Beach. This home offers convenient one-level living with an open floor plan. You'll have a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances and plenty of counter space, along with a large dining table that seats up to eight guests. The home is beautifully decorated with lots of beach décor throughout the house. The main bedroom includes a king bed, a smart TV, a private bathroom, and access to the covered deck. The queen bedroom with a smart TV and deck access shares a hall bathroom with the bunkbed/twin room. Relax and enjoy your morning coffee on the covered deck overlooking the canal. The anchored platform deck with railing on the channel has a table with seating and an attached floating dock perfect for fishing and docking your boat. Enjoy family activities and games in the spacious backyard. Other amenities include an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a brand new washer/dryer located on the bottom level, an electric fireplace in the living room, free WiFi, and smart TVs throughout.
Up to two dogs are welcome.

We had a great stay at Lighthouse Cove. We spent most of our time on the back deck (covered) and the backyard and dock. It was a short walk to the public beach access. It fully met our expectations.

4 minute walk to beach access! Sits on the canal nestled between permanent residents and other rentals. Very polite neighborhood with terrific evening atmosphere. You can hear the ocean waves crashing while sitting on the comfortable, well covered deck. A gate on the deck allows your pet to enjoy some freedom outside the home. This property is best for little dogs or elderly dogs. The surrounding properties have fenced in yards, and they are utilized by bigger dogs. Washer/dryer access is such a plus. I didn't think I would use (or even WANT to use), but being able to launder the towels just to lessen the mess was great (the property has some complimentary detergeant pods, I used those for their towels and saved my detergeant for our belongings). Be sure to bring softener though, the provided towels are NOT soft. Really loved being on the canal, if you're not going for ocean front this is the way to go. So Glad I didn't book the home that was just land locked. (You can swim in the canal too! We didn't. Didn't have any floatables or swim shoes. It'd been awesome if the property had a few floatables for this, as we didn't even think about it. Not their fault, but we would have given it a go if it had been just that simple!)

Nice area and neighborhood. The house is in need of repairs due to water damage that is evident. Walls with damage was painted over. We were unable to close the storm door because the digital lock on the wood door kept the storm door from latching. When the wind blows the storm door bangs against the porch. The front porch was not stable and wobbles when you climb the steps.
