The Family Jewel at the Lake

This home has been a treasure of our family's for more than 20 years, and we look forward to having others create memories here as well! Our home is perfect for a family reunion or a few families vacationing together.

Located toward the back of a quiet cove just steps from the lake! The house has two oversized master bedrooms, an open floorplan on the main level, and sunrise views from every room. All of the bedrooms have access to a deck - perfect for morning coffee, reading a book, or taking in the sights and sounds the lake has to offer. There is also a screened in patio and deck off of the main level with shade in the evening to enjoy an outdoor dinner overlooking the lake. Work from home? This house is perfect for a week away with the family – let the kids enjoy the lake during the day while you make yourself at home in the huge office with a built-in desk overlooking the dock and lake. Even work can’t stress you out with that view of the lake!

Grab your swimsuit and enjoy some time relaxing on the dock, cooling off in the lake, or enjoying the hot tub at night under the stars! The dock has a large swim platform and a locker with floatation devices you are welcome to use. Deep, calm water surrounds the dock – it is a perfect place to fish, sun bathe, swim, float, or enjoy a cold drink at the shaded bar. The only thing you need to bring is a full cooler!

A 10'x24' boat slip is also available if you would like to bring a boat or tie up a rental during your stay. The location is perfect for watersports on the quiet side of the lake, going to the bars and restaurants, or exploring other attractions the lake has to offer like Ha Ha Tonka.

There are countless other attractions in the area - check out golf courses that will fit anyone's experience level or Bennett Springs for trout fishing. There are truly things to do and enjoy year-round!

Some Additional Details about the House:

High speed WIFI is included.

Provided in the rooms and bathrooms: all bed linens, pillow, bath towels, laundry and dish soap, hair dryers, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, toilet paper, paper towels, and many other convenience items!

Provided in the kitchen: dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster, toaster oven, Keurig, all eating & cooking utensils, dishes, cups, glassware, pot & pans, cookie sheets, serving trays, a huge pantry. Also available is a gas grill off the porch!

Top Level:
Master bedroom #1 with king bed, single trundle bed (2 single beds), jetted tub, shower, oversized walk-in closet and access to the top deck. Master bedroom #2 with a king bed, tub, tub, shower, oversized walk-in closet, and access to the top deck. Set of bunk beds in the common area outside the two bedrooms.

Middle Level:
Laundry room with washer and dryer and utility sink. Bedroom #3 with a queen bed, walk in closet, and access to deck and office with built in desk and 2 stacked twin beds. Bedroom #4 has a queen bed with a closet. Bedroom #5 has a queen bed with a closet. All rooms are serviced by two full bathrooms – one with a walk in shower and the other with a tub/shower combination.

Lower level:
The lower level is an open concept with a large kitchen that has an island and bar with 3 chairs. The kitchen table seats 7 and the card table off the kitchen seats 6. The kitchen accesses the large deck overlooking the lake. The living room/ den is open to the kitchen and has a large TV with cable and a DVD player. The screened in porch is accessed through the living room or off the deck. The hot tub is just outside the screened in porch and also overlooks the lake. There is also a full bath on the lower level.

The final bed is a self-inflating queen air mattress that plugs into the wall. It can be used in any of the bedrooms or in the living room as needed. There is bedding provided for the air mattress.

Disclaimers:
- This house sits in a quiet cove and is ideal for families. The neighbors are great - please be respectful of them. We do not allow bachelor or bachelorette parties for this reason.

- The hot tub will not be available during the summer (June 1- September 5) unless opened per owner discretion. We have a great cove for swimming and the hot tub is difficult to maintain when guests swim in the lake and then get in the hot tub. Fortunately, Missouri summers are typically very hot, so the lake water is more appealing :) Thank you for your understanding.
