The hosts made sure we were happy and comfortable and went out of their way with extra touches because it was my birthday. The location was perfect for a peaceful get away. The hot tub was fab. The lodge was clean and had everything you could need. Fab shower, TV with Netflix and other channels. The place was perfect indoors and outside. Hammocks were a lovely touch and we used them to relax. Would love to go back.

Great couple of nights at this little retro lodge the sauna is great located in the lovely little part of Bovey Tracey and Paul the host is a lovely guy would definitely be back

We were grateful for the 2 eggs left in the welcome pack, and for the fact this place was open in late September. The host was pleasant and met us even though not well. There was a hot tub though we didn't use it. It was cosy warm and clean.
This is a small quirky chalet, some would enjoy the amount of retro stuff, we found it somewhat oppressive and taking up room we needed! We found it quite difficult to unpack and find space and then be sure we had found everything when we were packing. One side of the double bed is up against the wall and there is very little space at the foot of the bed. the small dining table has a visitors book plus other stuff, the sofa is not comfortable.
