Retro Lodge nr Dartmoor with hot tub & opt sauna

Stunning little lodge, tucked away in a quiet spot and perfect for a relaxing few days! The hosts were exceptional, really helpful and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. There were lovely extra touches like fresh eggs and bread waiting for us.

The lodge was beautiful and clean, had everything you could ask for. The peace and quiet was such a lovely surprise which added to the charm

We were grateful for the 2 eggs left in the welcome pack, and for the fact this place was open in late September. The host was pleasant and met us even though not well. There was a hot tub though we didn't use it. It was cosy warm and clean.

This is a small quirky chalet, some would enjoy the amount of retro stuff, we found it somewhat oppressive and taking up room we needed! We found it quite difficult to unpack and find space and then be sure we had found everything when we were packing. One side of the double bed is up against the wall and there is very little space at the foot of the bed. the small dining table has a visitors book plus other stuff, the sofa is not comfortable.
