Fantastic 2 bed traditional villa with private pool

The pool area had lots of room for sunbathing the pool is quite deep which was perfect for us and we really enjoyed swimming in it .

Great villa, with a fabulous view just a short walk into Foki bay and about 30 mins walk to Fiskardo. Very quiet and peaceful during the day perfect for the occasional lazy day going nowhere. Parking is fine, as long as you rent a small car!

It was clean and regularly sheets changed etc. Nice size and layout for a family of 4 people. Good pool. The parking is not good at all (very steep rubble road with little/no room) especially if just arrived. Main complaint is that the villa is desperately neglected. A few investments and changes and it would be so much better - furniture inside and out is very old and breaking - made it feel very much a rental property. All of the outside furniture (except sun loungers and umbrellas) were virtually unusable and frankly dangerous. Broken. For the first few days the wooden pagoda was not covered so we had no shade to eat under which in greece is needed. Beds were very hard. TV didnt work properly except random German channels (not that we wanted to watch TV). Could not turn outside and pool lights on or off which was frustrating. Often had dinner outside in the dark! It was OK. We had a good time as Kefalonia is a great place - but with a bit of an upgrade of crappy furniture and reinvestment in the property - it could be so much better. Simple really.
