About this villa rental
The captivating and unrivalled panoramic sea views of Fiscardo bay and the fabled island of Ithika across the water, earmarks this beautifully finished Villa as unrivalled for utter relaxation and for those who desire no extra entertainment than a great view, the occasional cooling dip in a pool and a well-stocked fridge with something to put on the barbecue as sun goes down.
Whilst it is only a 10 min drive from Fiscardo somewhat less to the pretty little beach of Foki, the temptation will be to just stay in your lovely surroundings, checking the little flotillas of yachts in and out of the bay, watching the fishing boats haul in their catch, timing that the ferries are running on schedule and generally enjoying the peace of your surroundings and amazing view.
Location
There is a mini market (for stocking that fridge) and several tavernas less than 2 kms away and if you like your meals accompanied by the sound of the sea, then you’ll need to go just a little further and a 10 mins drive will take you to the extremely picturesque harbour at Fiskardo, full of little bobbing boats.
There are many small bays to discover close at hand and some beautiful postcard beaches in this northern tip of the island.

Living area - Sofa and chairs, TV (limited channels/news only), and 2 set of French doors to sea view terrace. Air Con. unit.
Double bedroom with ensuite shower room - 1 double bed, French doors to covered sea view terrace. Ensuite shower, wash basin, W.C. Air Con. unit
Twin bedroom - 2 single beds, French doors to covered sea view terrace. Air Con. unit

NOTE: The 7th person can be accommodated on a simple folding bed, suitable for a child up to 10-12 yrs old only.
Housekeeping
Your Villa will be prepared for you on arrival with fresh bath and hand towels and all beds made up.
For stays of 7 nights or more - house towels will be changed every 3 - 4 days.
For stays of 14 nights or more - bed linen will be changed every 7 days.
Pool/beach towels - one per person for the duration of your stay.
Parking - There is parking inside the electric gates of the property.

The mattress in the bedroom upstairs needs replacing. It’s the worst mattress we have ever slept on. We love this villa and we have been twice but can’t possibly on this mattress again.

Location is amazing and support Team (Denni & Sylvia) were helpful and responsive. Generally the villa has great facilities.

The photos/video on the Freelance website could never do justice to the spectacular views and position of the villa they truly take your breath away and they change depending upon the light and the time of day. Majestic! The villa is well-equipped and the only danger is that you have to drag yourself away to do other things. We had sailed arounf Kefalonia the previous week, so had already visited places like Sami, Poros and Aghia Effimia so didn't feel compelled to spend a lot of time exploring, but we enjoyed a walk to Fiskardo for breakfast via Foki Beach and also visited Assos and its Venetian Castle and harbour, and the fish market in Argostoli (one of only two places where you can buy fresh fish). We liked the fact that there were a number of distinct separate areas in the outdoor spaces. Finally, thank you to Diane at Freelance for responding to our requests so promptly whilst we were there!
We weren't sure who owned the resident cat and if we were supposed to feed it or not until we spoke to the owner. It may be worth warning visitors as some may have allergies to felines....

We loved the location and view. The pool area was private and great for sun worshippers. However the villa itself is tired and shabby. There were quite a few things damaged, the kitchen was units and some of the patio furniture.
Needs a refurb.
