Feeling connected to the nature, but from the comfort of a well equipped modern cabin

Our family loved to stay here! Walking in to this cabin and seeing the view for the first time took our breath away. On our stay we especially enjoyed watching the tides change and seeing the wildlife in its daily cycle. Beds were very comfortable and bedroom curtains blocked allmost all light of the midnight sun so we got a fresh and active start every morning. Washingmashine was very useful after the daily hikes on the nearby trails. Kids loved the upstairs small "private" livingroom.

Fantastic place, amazing views

The house is very new (01/21), nicely furnished, 4 bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Great living room with a comfortable couch and chairs and amazing views through the large glass front. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook nice meals and we had dinner while watching the sunset! Even on rainy days the view is amazing and you can wait comfortably until the weather gets better. The location was great for a visit to Haukland and Uttakleiv beaches (we hiked there and took the way back over the saddle next to the tunnel). Also the hike to Holandsmelen was fantastic ( great 360 views from up there ) and starts a couple hundred meters up the road. We got a code to get into the apartment and the management was very responsive via the booking.com chat. Probably the best apartement we ever stayed in!

Nothing really bothered us, just a few suggestions to make it even more perfect: We had a bit of trouble to find the place as there are several houses in the area but not all of them have a number and there are no street names. We finally matched the picture from the website to the house. A little map would have helped. The wifi was strong but the internet connection was spotty ( I guess the area just does not have faster access, the mobile reception was also not that great). The password was not available in the house, but was sent to us on request. It took us a while to figure out how to turn on the dishwasher, you need to turn on the water below the water tap of the sink.

Stilvoll modern, dabei gemütlich mit bestem Ausblick in wunderbarer Natur und Umgebung.

Wunderbare Lage direkt am Meer. Sehr freundlicher und schnell reagierender Eigentümer. Modern, Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr schöner Kaminofen, herrliche Terrasse mit schönstem Blick und verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten. Guter Ausgangspunkt zu besten Stränden, Wandertouren und dem Städtchen Leknes. Tollste Himmelsspektakel und Sonnenuntergänge. Sehr sauber und überhaupt nicht verwohnt.

Alles gut. Weltklasse wäre es, wenn es noch eine Sauna und/oder Außenwhirlpool gäbe. Aber auch so kommen wir wieder ;- )
